You put together a super nice looking game with great atmosphere and even animations! Finding the correct spots was a lot easier after a few not-quite-stellar attempts :P

Wow! I won! The entire experience was very tense though. Lol, this is the one of the darker takes on the theme I have seen so far...love it!

Anyway, yea the directions popping up quickly on the posts really helped with getting around. I managed to only die once. This was really solid. Very interesting level.

Struggled with the first time I played as the interaction with the demon was not automatic so I quickly turned away and wandered the level without interacting with anything. Refreshed and figured it out the 2nd try, and I felt terrible taking all those things away from the villagers so success?

Very nice art style. The world is lovely and the experience felt polished.
I liked that you could wander the world with no constraints before you activate the quest, to properly explore the world and see the whole map. Also handy for learning where things where without time constraints. The signposts were definitely useful.
Not a fan of the time limits.
I found it was possible to walk on top of the bushes by using one of the glowy eggs as a stepping stone.

I liked that the first village added a barricade to try and keep you out but some more dialogue interaction could improve things. It felt a bit too straight forward to get the villagers to hand over their loved ones.

The game has good movement, graphics and audio, but overall it lacks in gameplay. It's basically walking around a slightly changing map. Also, mouse sensitivity is very low

A very atmospheric game, filled with emotions you can really feel. I like that the location changes a bit as you progress, you can see people trying to fight back, great concept. Excellent game!

Thank you a lot for your kind comments!

@dock-frankenstein It was my whole idea to focus about orientation of a tiny map. I was alone working on this and had some personal issues during the jam so no time to do more!

Really great. The atmosphere and graphics are incredible.
The theme is terrifying. And the mission and dialogues really work well.

Great job!

Okay, I found a game where you play as the villain! At first, I didn't approach the glowing pumpkin, so I was running around. Then I started the mission and failed once in the middle. After about five missions, a broken bridge appeared, and I got through it by walking on the narrow wooden planks.

There's nothing much to criticize, except I feel the perspective could be slightly improved; it needs to be more level. Right now, the slope is a bit steep, and it doesn't look very comfortable...

Wow I feel so bad hahaha. Surely that fire demon is actually nice and won't do anything horrible to babies and puppies, right? Riiight?

But seriously, very impressive for a 72h game! Amazing graphics. Good on you for taking it easy on yourself! I'm always tempted to go for all-nighters on game-jams

A nice, simple game. Made me feel like a courier. Like Death Stranding😁 The graphics are quite nice. The audio is pleasant. It lacks variety.

Really cool, super detailed stuff , loved the way the villages started trying to block off the paths

Great aesthetic with the scribbly demon face, made it all the more menacing. Great stuff!

The creepy atmosphere is super cool, I really dig the art style. I found the camera to have an odd angle, I would have preferred to be able to look around with more freedom. In the beginning it's quite hard to get to the right place.
After a while it becomes a bit repetitive, though.
It's quite weird playing as the "bad guy" but overall I enjoyed it :smirk:

I was pleasantly surprised as this one went on. Visually it's pretty incredible, but when the villagers began to bar my way I was fairly hooked. I think the only complaint for a jam game is that sometimes the pathing was a little difficult to navigate (i.e. crossing the river.) This has a great atmosphere and the narrative worldbuilding feels like it comes from a strong place. Great effort overall!

Thank you so much for all your comments! Sorry I am only responding late.

@theoratkin @loiclegrosfrere Don't worry the puppies are all really happy... Maybe the master just wants to build a really nice shelter for them....
