So when the theme was set, it was pretty clear that we do some kind of resource picking in the post apocalypse city. Yep, Radmin\/Hamachi\/Anything like this, so you could have a certain IP, and check that you can ping each other before you actually try connect in the game. Also you may try Parsec like people above, it let you connect in local coop, which game also supports in split screen mode. I've tried it too, seems very user friendly...
