Mighty Golem by FlashMonkey

[raw]
made by FlashMonkey for LD33 (COMPO)
Mighty Golem (First Ludum Dare)

is a 2D Shooter where you play a Golem and try to destroy the Kingdom of Astoria.
I'am sorry but I didn't finished the whole Game.

Controlls & Notes:
with the RMB you set the target position to go to.

LMB: shoots a Laser which is single hit this means you apply only oneTime damage and this is when you hit the enemie.
Q: you get a Boost
W: create a force field at the mouseposition which makes damage over time and slowdown the enemies and gives the laser a damage multipiler.
E: heal yourselve by 25 hp.

What's missing:
Sounds and Music
The Last Attacktype
and beautiful animation + sprites

I like the graphics a lot. I wasn't sure how to kill the knights. The laser hits them but sometimes nothing happens.

No sound as said in the description, WAY to difficult to shoot and move at the sametime and enemies are always right on your tail and u cant ever get a shot off safely. Nice art style. Could have used a better and easier to read font at the beginning

Very nice graphics! Loved it. Plus gameplay was pretty cool. Level felt kind of empty, needed some trees or something.

Nice game! I like the Moba style abilities.
I just didn't like the way you move the character. I feel like in a game like this I should be able to run and shoot to oposite directions.

I like the look of this game and can see where it can be with some more polish.
I didn't feel like me actions had a huge impact of the enemies. I wanted them to react more instead of just disappearing.

Pretty interesting concept, you've got a lot done!

The game would benefit from some feedback upon hitting things, Knights shaking, blinking, that sort of thing!

Hey! You commented in my game "Aye The Destroyer".

I'm just making sure that you know that you can move using WASD. I forgot to tell that in-game. It's now fixed and it should take care of most of the difficulty issue. If you could give me your updated thoughts I would be very glad.

Thank you!

The art is great, but I felt the knights run at you way too fast.

I'm not entirely sure how the skills work, since sometimes they don't seem to activate.

Then again, I couldn't really read the instructions. Dat font, man.

I liked this. The graphics were well put together on a technical level. I think the game could have communicated game changes better(taking damage, knights taking damage, etc.)

The knights are way to fast, but this seems like a good start for a really fun game.
