Welcome to the Soulp Forest, Soul Collector. This is a world filled with all kinds of souls. You will play as a lonely scavenger, collecting fragments of souls each day by devouring them. But beware—do not consume the corrupted souls, or you will be tainted as well.
Controls: Move with the mouse. ESC to quit. Objective: Eat as many pure soul fragments as possible while avoiding the red-eyed ones!

The gameplay is a bit simple. Perhaps they could have added more challenge. For example, making the character and enemies faster would have created more action. The character could have slowed down over time, in addition to changing size. Or limiting the field of view, something like that.
The detailed cursor is a bit confusing; it takes some getting used to.
I also remembered an example of a wonderful game with similar gameplay and a certain twist (which I think inspired the developers of Super Hot).

I actually thought about speeding up the enemies to accelerate the game, but i ended up running into a bug and didn’t have enough time to fix it before the ddl. Slowing down the player is also a great idea, and I’ve been considering adding different types of enemies to make things more challenging.
And about the cursor, if I understood you right, you’re referring to the cursor shown in the video?😹yeahh I forgot to turn the custom off while recording
One feedback I have is that sometimes the corrupted souls will spawn right on you, or super close (even in the center) making them impossible to dodge

For a bit of feedback, I feel it might have been nice to have a bit more feedback whenever you collect a corrupted soul. Perhaps a different sound effect or a little screenshake would have made it more clear that lost some health. Also the spawning of the souls could maybe use a bit of work, because it felt a little unfair whenever one spanwed basically on top of me.
That said, I think you did a great job! Especially for a compo game :D
