In order to make this new colony a (financial) success for our partners at Federated Mining Corporation ltd. You will have to make sure resource collection is continuously ongoing in order for us to extract the highest amount of income from the various inhabitants that will inhabit the Living Compartments of this colony
To play the game you build tiles, collect the resources they produce with the right mouse button and find a way to create highly advanced production chains! Your goal is to turn the colony into the ultimate cash cow. You achieve this by upgrading the Headquarters tile to level 3!
Controls: - Build tiles with left mouse button - Gather resources with right mouse button - Drag to move the camera
Everything is made ourselves, in Godot. only the font is sourced!
The game is playable on itch.io, we recommend to play it in full screen mode

Can't say much on my behalf because i am not a big fan of strategy games, but yours looks and feels good overall
I also thought the game would include more adjacency rules (like the basic colony building), although I understand you've probably just cut this feature due to short jam time.
I was missing some more intricate processes. Each resource was pretty much linearly producible. It would be cool to have more dynamic "puzzle" like decisions to make. The biggest bottleneck for the last upgrade was pretty much money. And the best way is to mindlessly build compartments. Your only real "precise" instrument is the park, which is nice, but i wish there was even more. Especially to make the cool hex grid really worthwhile.
I feel like the tutorial could have included the activating of tiles too, but in the length of the jam its cool that you even have one, so that's fine.
Concluding:
(-) Doesn't use tile placement much and doesn't have many options for the player to choose
(+) Has Hex Grid aesthetic, tutorial, good Basics and Theme
More tutorial on how buildings work - classify the different buildings in the build menu, for example!
Music - I'm biased as a musician, but I always hope for some good music to set the mood. The title screen has a great vibe and some more music while playing would keep me engaged longer.
UI is great! I really like how it registers what is ready/building, so keep developing this in that vein!
Overall, it's fun, and I think there's some great ideas to build on.
