An Antiquarian by eekq_
A short narrative deduction game about buying strange supernatural objects from some not so trustworthy salesmen.

Basic instructions
- To win the game you must acquire 3 non-cursed items from 3 unique opponents.
- Each opponent will sell 2 cursed objects and 1 safe object.
- To deduce which object is safe, you may ask up to 3 generic questions about an object by spending coins earned in a minigame before each encounter.
- Your opponent does not have to tell the truth when answering your question. Good luck.
Lore
I am a man of high education, high society, and higher caste.
I have a strange obsession. I am an antique collector, specializing in amassing the largest collection of supernatural items.
I have recently been sent a letter addressing me and my obsession directly.
Though the letter itself seems to have no stated author.
It reads as an invitation to play some sort of game with three merchants who have acquired strange and magical wares.
The rules for this game are simple. Every day I am to come to a secluded hut with a large amount of money. Each day there will be a new merchant who will sell me 3 objects. All of which bear some sort of strange supernatural quality, but 2 of them, whether the merchant knows it or not, are cursed. When I choose an item, I may keep it. Free of charge. But the merchant may only answer questions about the objects if I pay them a large sum of money. If I am to pick any of the cursed items, I will presumably die and the merchant may inherit my wealth, my estate, everything. But if I pick the one that is not…
I know it is absurd to actually listen to this, let alone do as it says... but the prospect of picking the right object… I’ve never been more excited. The first meeting is supposed to be today, after I'm finished writing, I will pack a suitcase full of cash and make haste towards the house.
