After a few minutes, I got almost invincible, which made the game stale, but that was an okay experience nonetheless!

This is a really cool idea. I liked the periodic upgrades and not having to shoot myself, just concentrate on piloting! The music was quite loud but apart from that, this ticks all the boxes for me!

@sevansevan Thanks for the feedback! I'll release a new version in the next few days (4 days left of "Extra" Jam Category) that will make mid-late game less stale

I really love games that can be played with one hand — your game is honestly a pleasure to play.

@milestone-games I think you should try testing and rating about 20 games to increase your Karma and make your game more visible, so that other players can test it.

Really fun game! It's a nice take on the Vampire Survivors type genre, the high speeds you move at makes dodging and weaving between enemies feel more intense, and it's interesting the implications of having the modules trailing behind you.

I did find it a bit hard to focus on a specific build, if you could find a way to give the player a little bit of influence over what upgrades options they get, I think that'd be a nice addition.

You did really well on the game overall, love getting to see what people manage with the extra format.

awesome game! wished the upgrade were a bit more generous though, but the progression felt great overall, loved the graphics and music too

@sevansevan @7uc4s @praccen @kahztein @sangheli @fivecyclops @weirdbitgames Thanks for playing and leaving comments! Since the EXTRA jam is not yet over I've made a first patch that hopefully addresses some of the concerns above. Please check out the changelog.

Had a great time with this game I only intended to play it for a minute or three but I ended up spending a bit more time on it xD, the simple mechanics where used fantastically! The simple visual of your upgrades chaining behind you was already a fantastic way to add progression but then you added that your health getting reduced to zero instead destroys a remaining module and I thought that was such a cool idea! Excellent game one of the best made this jam

super polished indeed, good job! man getting the shield was super satisfying, just turning around and popping all the ships at once. sadly it seems like the don't give xp that way. i wasn't entirely sure if modules were damaged by enemies since they seemed to be phasing through them just fine, but it turns out they were just running into them and hand a lot of health. that might need to be clarified. though i did enjoy the strategy of putting damaging modules in the back where they are the closest to deal the best damage. i feel like that has some potential, especially with the explody thing. i also sometimes ran into enemies after the upgrade selection since the mouse was moved somewhere else after clicking - godot has the warp_mouse() function, so you could perhaps save and restore that to get a smoother transition back :) overall, well rounded entry to the genre!

Great entry! I truly appreciated the mood and music. Merging Vampire Survivors with SNKRX was an intriguing choice. Although it becomes repetitive fairly quickly, it remains enjoyable to play!

Quite happy with this!

An excellent experience. I was very much immersed in this while playing, and while early on I thought it might go on forever, it started getting harder without any noticeable cut-off point. Well done!

I have no idea how this game has so few ratings. I have nothing much to critique except that I want more content. 5/5 awesome.

@xsangyhix it's an Extra category game which means it was released later than most, when a lot of people are already done with playing and rating.

(also a relatively low Smart balance. While some LD games get played a lot because they're good and get word of mouth promotion going, usually it's a fairly simple trade, play games and get your game played :) )

@frank-gevaerts Thank you so much for the kind words! @xsangyhix thank you as well! compared to the rest of you I had all of 3 weeks to develop and playtest this game :) I can recommend trying the EXTRA Game Jam category next time for a less stressful experience.

Hey! That was very well done! Great mood, graphics, I also like how you are adding modules - it's not just upgrades, you can see modules that can be also destroyed and you lose the ability (I suppose). I can also appreciate little details like when camera zooms out a little when you pick bonus for higher speed so you can see better where you go. It's a pity you didn't make it in time for jam, but thanks for publishing at least in extra!
