Souvenir from Earth by Saering

In Souvenir from Earth, a cute alien couple comes to Earth for their vacations and want to bring back some souvenirs. What a better idea than kidnapping cute pugs, pigeons, and even some humans?

:warning: The game has been made in Godot 4 .NET (C#), which does not support web export. We understand that more people would have enjoyed playing in browser, but sadly we cannot do it.

Have you consider exporting a HTML version?
Back to the game. I really love the detail that how aliens show different between beaming a bomb or a souvenir!
We used the .NET version of Godot which sadly does not support web export. I'll be adding a message on the game page because I guess more people will ask for it.
I also agree that maybe you can consider exporting a HTML version so people can play it more!
I think it fits for being able to play in browser because it's quick and casual
Hope the aliens enjoy their trip to the Earth! xD
Btw. since the game is jumping into full screen, you guys might consider adding some sort of quit key (like 'escape' or something).
The web version cannot be done as we used Godot 4 .NET, that does not support web exporting. I know it's a shame for a jam, but really there's nothing we can do here, to my regret :(
@le-don The randomness is indeed an issue, while playtesting we sometimes lost due to the spawn system not being kind. I was suppose to update the spawn code for that, but you know, not that much time to spend on it and since it's a jam entry, we considered it was okay, despite being a possible frustration source.
I also agree on the full screen note.
Thank you for playing!
I made it run on Linux using WINE and it worked fine. Loved the art style, especially the derpy faces :3 The controls I found a bit challenging, it's harder than it looks on the pictures, but it kept me engaged for quite a while. I can see a bunch of potential for expanding this. Maybe more mission types with different cities, maybe the military comes and tries to stop you.
Feels very polished altogether. Well done!
