Sugar Crash Clair by epb9000
Claire has a need. A need for speed! In this autorunner collect-a-thon, grab the candy, avoid the veggies, and smash your way through the rocks to try to maximize your top speed! (Yes for the theme I had the harebrained idea to collect SPEED ITSELF)

@belosha I get overconfident and miss jumps all the time.
@alex-mulkerrin Thanks! Almost every element is a polygon that I drew in-engine with a texture and modulation applied to save me the time of drawing for realsies. I actually had the music done before I even coded the jumps properly.
@bluedandelion Indeed, the main level is fully randomly generated. I quickly found that Claire was too fast for me to be individually building levels (it would take me too long to make long-enough ones to be engaging) so instead they are randomized platforms that follow specific rules. I made it so clicking retry would use the same randomization seed and that start new would generate a new seed, but I didn't think of communicating this fact. Good callout. I feel like new messaging would be a 'new feature' so I've added a note to the game description.
The sounds are really cute.
The moral of the story is: eat more vegetables! :)
