as someone who has just thrown a large amount of time at Elden Ring, I was the master of the dodge roll!
Quite a fun game, levels were a bit laggy at the very start, but cleared up after, so all in all fun experience with no issues

Cool game! I would suggest making collecting coins more convenient. So that after killing an enemy - you don't have to wait long for them to drop. And then collect them throughout the level, when time is very short.

I second the sentiment about coins popping out quicker from dead enemies. I love the art style and the upgrades system was busted. +Jewel is overpowered. Loved the boss fight at the end, was a little stilted by the fact that I don't think there was a way to die, so I just kinda face tanked it.

Cute game! I was also seeing a bit of lag at the start of levels, but it worked itself out. Pretty impressive to make a 3D action game for the jam so well done there :D Definitely agree with the making collecting coins more convenient feedback. Feels like they should magnet to you after a second of defeating an enemy. I would often get hit by an arrow while trying to pick up the coins from taking down an enemy haha

First run I went for attack power, kept slaying monsters but forgot to grab more jewels — no upgrades, instant loss 😭
Next run I took speed + double jump, opened every chest... suddenly I’m Superman hahaha 🚀

Nice game! Combat system works well. Coins are a bit slow to appear, I forgot a lot of them. It's cool that levels are different. Good work!

Pretty simple gameplay that really relies on the levels to be interesting, but there was at least some variety in the level design (unlike quite a few games this jam). The mantling mechanic felt a bit out of place, feeling a bit too heavy for a game like this but mostly everything else was fine. Nice style and overall feel in the levels and mechanics were simple enough to understand without much guidance.

This game was genuinely fun. I have feedback on specific details, but only because I played it and replayed it often enough to wish it were different in specific ways.
- It's a little too hard. It's balanced like a standalone game, not a jam game. With a standalone game, players have the time to replay and gradually get better. In a jam, people won't have the time to grind and get better at any specific game. No judgement, I think our game submission this year has the same problem. But it would be nice to be able to decrease the difficulty.
- I wish you had a way to block. You're carrying a shield, but it doesn't do anything. Plus, you can see when the enemies are winding up to hit you. It would be nice to have a mechanic to engage with there, instead of just fumbling to awkwardly back away after attacking.
- It would be nice to show your stats somewhere, maybe just in between levels, so you can get a sense for how much impact each upgrade has on you.

I actually liked the mantling mechanic. And I liked that there were multiple chests, so you could get more than one jewel on most levels. I liked that you start to realize as you play, that killing dudes is way less important than just getting treasure. The game is really about collecting coins and jewels, not winning fights, which was a great way to use the game mechanics to lean into the theme.

I enjoyed playing this, and I can give it the highest of my praise: This is one of the games I will save to have my kids play also.
