The Key Keeper by megalukes
In The Key Keeper, you must collect all the keys to protect your realm.
This game was created for Ludum Dare 58. Play the Fullscreen version HERE
All graphics, music, sprites, and sounds were created or edited by me. The running and jumping warrior sprite was made with a bit of help from my friend Black Mage, and a few of the tiles were adapted from Kenney’s assets.

I agree with the other commenter that the camera shake was a bit excessively done: it can be great to emphasize a hard hit, but it probably shouldn't shake so high every single time the player jumped (and especially not if you were jumping to a high ledge, which means you're landing with almost no speed). Having it scale with the speed of impact could've made the shake feel much more natural (and also further emphasized hard landings!).
Still, nicely done--great work on the art, the sound, and the platforming feel!
My only other complaint was the extreme low light made it really hard to see where you were supposed to go sometimes - On the level with the two elevator blocks, I spent forever looking high and low for the way forward, because I couldn't see the switch from the left hand platform that had the key. Lowering the intensity of that effect might have helped make the game more readable
Otherwise, this was very well put together! I didn't run into any technical issues, the audio was nice and crunchy, the death animation was very cool looking, and there was a lot of juice packed in! Well done! :)
Overall a really good job!
(Using a Mac, I ended up needing to use Firefox over Chrome and Safari for it to render correctly. Just a quick note for anyone using one if they run into issues.)
It really feels very polished with this nice music and graphics. I quickly got lost :joy: , and it quickly got quite difficult to find where I hadn't been yet.
A nice game overall, well done!
In one level the way to the finish could be a bit shorter, so you don't just run for the sake of running
