Loved the art and the narrative! Have to admit I basically soloed with Cáel. Rapid fire knockback plus a stun had the enemies walking backwards!

Great game, I enjoyed playing it!

You've got a lot done in a rather short time.
Congrats, it's a very solid entry!

Enemies get stuck on walls sometimes, but it's understandable it would be hard to nail an AI in such a short time.

Had a tough time running the game on browser, but otherwise fun game, lot of content

I love visual novels and dungeon crawlers so this game is made for me. There's a surprising amount of depth to the combat. I'm really impressed you managed to get that all working and feeling good in just a few days. This is a really unique entry. Great job.

I like it a lot. Like the poster before I used mainly Cael :) but I tried to do combos as well. I liked the RPG bits at the campfire. In the.. last? level with the two big enemies I managed to push one off screen and was unable to finish the fight; tried waiting a bit or blasting into the void but no luck.

Fire spamming to win. The combo system seems cool but there was little use for it in most cases. It was slightly hard to get the attacks right for me at start too used for Darks Souls binding with light attack on right bumber and heavy attack on trigger xd. This made the start super hard untill i realized to just spamm light attacks. The melee combat was super satisfying when the combo was done nicely but sometimes I just got stun locked so i preferd to chiken out in range. In final boss the large enemies got throwng out of the level so i had to blind snipe them outside of the camera xd.
Next just make this a full game!

Cael is really too OP that the only trouble I had is pushing the enemies offscreen and having to find where they are to aim at. It's impressive that you can put quite a lot of content in the game.

Pretty comprehensive for a game jam! The characters add so much to the mood, and the game play seems well tuned

Amazing that you managed to finish this in a game jam. Complex mechanics, great art, really liked it. Had some trouble running it in the browser and probably needed a bit of a balance pass, but all very understandable for a game jam game. Great job!

Very enjoyable game! The art is amazing, and the project feels very complete, with both the visual novel side and the dungeon crawling side. Each could have been an entry by itself if they were fleshed out more.

With more enemy variety (like fast or ranged enemies), some balancing tweaks to make using Marcus more worthwhile (maybe let him block dangerous attacks and shield Cáel?), improved enemy pathfinding, and more content in general, this has potential to become a full-fledged game. Would be nice to be able to fix the situation caused by the Lightfall. Great job!
