Really fun game. It was quite hard, enemies kept showing up every 5 seconds and after a while there were a heap of them. It was fun though, and I thought the graphics were great!

Really liked the post processing. I thought it was actually isometric 2d for a sec. Gives me inspo. The look of the projectiles is really cool. A lot of models, cool world to explore. You clearly had a lot of fun making these models. The music is also super good. You made it? It isn't AI slop I hope? The upgrades as a game mechanic was fun. Wish the enemies had animations, right now the world kinda feels like a skating rink with everyone sliding around. Overall great job

Fun little premise, only thing I'd really say is that a quick on-screen tutorial would be nice, and it'd be nice to have a way to quit that isn't alt-f4.

The explosion upgrade was cool, I just wish there were more upgrades that give you more bullets and stuff like that

Pretty good time! While the sliding does look a little silly, the art style and music definitely nail the mood. In general the mechanics are pretty polished but not the most satisfying. The upgrades, although not offering any choices, give an emergent progression that I think is a bit more engaging than a typical wave defense. You're guaranteed to get overwhelmed eventually, but it does scale quite nicely for a few minutes.

I love the art style, and it would be even more amazing if some combat mechanics could be added to provide more room for skill expression.

The mood is good with those lights and shades and music, but in terms of gameplay this kind of games needs to be more engaging right from start, otherwise it becomes boring quickly just going around in circles and shooting. Unfortunately, I didn't quite feel the upgrades, although later I noticed you can hover them and read the effects. What such games usually do is levelling-up with suggesting a new ability, like choose one of three or something like that, where you have time to pause and read carefully what options you have. At the same time, small passive bonuses like you have are also good. Of course, a variety of enemies is always nice, with tougher enemies appearing during the course of the game, but I understand it's hard to implement all those features in a jam's timeframe.

Nice music -- it really fit the vibes. Nice to see other Halloween-themed titles out there too!

Collectibles and Halloween, good use of the jam's theme and timing)

Good old twin stick shooter, i regret only about lack of special abilities (or maybe I just missed smth?)
Anyway, good job!

I loved how you incorporated the theme with Halloween! I loved being a witch and casting spells against the monsters! Staying alive was hard. I lasted 53 seconds and had 3 candies. They came in like a horde. It was great!

Great Halloween theming, I liked the pickups but I think some more choice on the players part would've been good. Nice UI and good to have those tool tips on the items! And also good job with the speed of the game, I feel like sometimes these style games can feel a bit laggy but this ramps up quick! Nicely done!

Nice game! I liked the controls, noticed too late that you can shoot full-auto.. Also, I couldn't figure out how to use the powerups like the apple that's supposed to restore health?
Lighting and overall atmosphere are consistent.

Some things to add or improve though:
- increase firerate / power when progressing (1 minute in and I felt powerless and were just fleeing)
- splash damage attack for big hordes
- directional attack that shoots through enemies so that it makes sense to "chain" them

Keep up the good work!
