Nice job!
I played for 15 or 20 minutes, and I would have played more if not the fact it crashed (the screen went completely dark and I only heard some audio).
Anyway... Strong Dome Keeper vibes but actally with a better hook of this whole snake-like drilling machine.
Good luck guys!
Btw bats are kinda hard to see (at least on my screen), maybe a higher contrasted color or light overlay around would have add more confort ^^
@atsh Thanks for feedback. Maybe the bats are a bit too difficult to start with. I think the progress could be a bit faster which would allow unlocking turrets and upgrades to deal with them a bit sooner.
@dr-braur @eliasou Thanks for feedback. Unfortunately I noticed the performance issues only after running it in the browser just before submitting so didn't manage to fix it in time. It starts getting quite laggy if there is a lot of empty space (so after mining for a while).
Thanks all for playing and appreciate the great feedback! Will certainly look into addressing all of it whenever I get the chance!
Very solid base though! Hope you continue!
I thought the bats & the way they spawned were kinda annoying; I wish there were hazards that fit the way you move a little better, maybe something like explosives to avoid down in the rocks?
Maybe the bats would feel a little better to fight/avoid if they were larger and slower.
I also didn't realise there were multiple pages to the upgrades menu until I read the comments.
Also, could really use save. At one moment screen went black, and I had to reload, but the progress was lost.

I liked the retro feel of the graphics. It reminded good old games from 90's and the destructible ground made me remember Liero. The soundscape was nice, but some music or ambience would have added to the mood.
Other than the initial crash, a nice matopeli!
