Am a drone (◕‿◕) by Twaerd

YOU'VE NEVER BEEN SO WRONG!
Flying saucers ARE the aliens! And they're cute :)
They come in peace to help us in the delivery system.
They really like to help, and people can give them Scoopz, their own currency used to help us even more!
They tried to learn our language, but all they seem to know is a primitive way for their function in the society: 'Am a drone' (◕‿◕)

But it's a jam so it's hard to ask "more" in this context , and once you understand how it work, it's kinda fun to trace the different path to get the delivery. The snooze loose is kinda harsh cause if you loose money you are getting further to the buy new drone who could help you. But it's still fun to have automatize element like that ! And the visual work !
But it's a bit buggy. For example the placing of the lines which lagg a lot. And if you press spacebar a few times you keep loading new things.
That would be better with just a little sound design no?
The game feets the jam's theme so for me, that's a big YES!
It could be a "complete" game that I could buy
The gameplay itself is sadly hindered by bugs. Drawing the path reacts inconsistently. Sometimes you can draw a straight line, sometimes you can't. Sometimes your line just changes into other shapes. Maybe all those drawing issues are just caused by lagging.
It's also not immediately apparent, which buildings will have deliveries once you start the day. Maybe distinguishing those from the rest of the area (with some color stroke or icons) would be helpful in the planning stage.
Some more feedback would also be welcome. Some SFX or effect that would indicate actual pickup of deliveries, for example.
Unfortunately, at some point a drone got stuck between two buildings and couldn't move, so the game soft locked. Seems like something that happens to amazon drones, so I didn't mind it.

The only problem I have is the trajectory drawing, it is a big laggy and sometimes makes weird shapes. But that's just a minor thing that would be normally polished, so I think for a game jam this is really good!
The road construction was a little hard at first, but it's pretty cool for a Jam!
The path creation could have used more visual feedback, e.g. it's nice to be able to see where a path I'm placing is going to appear before I click. I also think the paths should have snapped to a grid -- I didn't like seeing janky kinks just because I clicked a few pixels too high or low.
Nonetheless, good job getting something playable in the short timeframe of the jam!
