You are one of the participants in the Great Race of Mercy.
The fate of the town of Nome depends on your decisions.
Deliver the cure through the snowy forest.
The trip will not be easy, but your faithful dogs and your fearlessness will help you in this mission. Good luck!

My third LD game and first 3d game. Learned my tools as i went) Features: -procedural animations -fun and smooth controls
Wish i could: -finish placeholder models -write a main theme -build more engaging level -made more 3d assets

Hope you enjoy.
!!! Important !!! It can be buggy at the start on some machines. I hope my last upload fixed it, but if you're getting stuck at the start - try to restart and begin accelerating as soon as you hit the start button. !!!

great game, very calm and entertaining!!
btw nice twerking bro
Sorry the game doesn't work for me, the vehicle don't want to move (tried with keyboards and xbox one gamepad)
when i press forward I see the animation changing a little bit (let me think the input is detected) but the vehicle don't move
I hope you continue this project and made all what you planned.
Btw, good job!
Did have a bug where I couldn't move at the start (think it was because I turned before trying to move forward, fixed by restarting)
I know time is our main enemy, so instead of "more content", i'll leave a tip which wouldn't take much to implement:
If you recommend using controller instead of keyboard and mouse, make everything accesible from the controler, this includes main manu (Which is only accesible pressing esc), and and starting the game from the controller(If you use unity UI, call the focus tothe first button on start of the scene and if a button is pressed when no button has focus).
@digx7 yeah you can tell that was pretty much the point) Objective is to have fun as you wish. Take it as a sandbox. Sorta like a tech demo. But the goal is to go towards the Sun, so just forward. =D
Overall, really nice game, great work on the environment and animations for 3 days. The setting and idea is cool, and the mood you set for the game gives it a really nice and relaxing feeling after you get out of the woods and just glide along the snow. The game could guide the player a bit more, maybe with some kind of compass and marker system. Still though, it's really good, great job :)
@stellarr2 god damn you've written a whole review here! Thanks alot! About navigation, yeah you're right in the sense of there's not very clear direction. And it is because I didn't have much time. I don't want to make markers or compas just in ui intentionally. I'm personally just tired of how much ui elements in certain games nowadays. I follow this philosophy - if you can make some indication diagetic - you do it that way. This time I've failed at it, but it's ok, let this be a tech demo, I glad that I've done just this much at all =D Thanks for the detailed review!
The character controller felt polished and was fun to control, and the sound effects really added to the atmosphere thanks to the lack of music and desolate environment.
