Nice mini game to birth a child, just curious why the baby and mother leave separately haha
Cool idea and well executed :)
Expanding on that idea, you could implement golden or silver babies or parents that pay you more, if you help them early on. Some incentive to choose babies to pull could be fun. But for a base game, it's a nice speedy game.
I definitely agree there should be some penalty for hitting wrong buttons.
@greenphox I think you're right. As of right now there's no reason to have 4 beds. I should make it so they explode or something if they don't get helped fast enough.
@zenbreaker 15 is a good score! My highest ever is 16. I think you're right - there needs to be a reason to choose a certain parent over another. Good ideas.
I have maybe one thing I would change. I would probably add some punishment for pressing the wrong arrow, because after playing for a while, I figured out, that you can easily exploit the game by literally smashing your keyboard like 10 times randomly, and the baby comes out in 2 seconds.
But it's okay, that's not how you should play it, but in case you want to release this on steam or something, I would add the punishment mechanic :)
I ended up swapping between the two botton beds, ignoring the two on top completely. Maybe some "urge" mechanic could be added, so you have to take care of everyone in time.
Lowlight: No penalties
I chuckled out loud when I saw that this game was about delivering **babies**! That is a hilarious take on the theme. The gameplay itself was pretty straightforward and the sound effects were good. I played the game three times in order to try to beat my high score so that says something. Only real complaint is I discovered that I could just mash all the arrow keys without penalty. Some background music might be a good addition too.
Very silly idea - 'hyper-realistic' indeed! Surprisingly addictive, trying to optimize my route between patients, and lock down a rhythm to accurately pull the correct direction.
Between the sfx, the particles, and the color palette - this game is very juicy! It feels fantastic to play.
Great job!
Some advices:
You can add timer for every pregnant women.
Reduce the rate of pregnant women appear at the beginning.
Add a stroller on top,the two pregnant women on top is too far away,i never want to help them:)
Love how you approached the topic!
Was a bit confused with controls at first.
Animation of doing a "wrong" movement is hilarious, also love that he holds a baby at the leg
The game is really well made. The graphics are simple but super fun. The audio is perfect. The gameplay works really well.
Could be expanded to put timers on delivery time per lady, and to randomly place the baby delivery cart.

Good job

Probably one of the most on-point takes on the theme I've seen! Didn't know delivering babies could be this competitive - very fun!!
Nice entry ! Took me a couple of seconds to understand what we were supposed to do (was expecting the baby the be catapulted to me), after that it's a nice little game. Well done !
The only problem I had is that the arrows did not appear at times.

28 definitely doable, I lost a couple seconds due to pathing. Will try again after hand recovers.
