Fun game! I really like the simple control scheme and gameplay. But the best thing about this game is the usage of color identity and shape identity for delivering parcels to the gods! It might be unintended but the emergent accessibility feature from just the small bit of design in the art assets is sweet as hell.

Only thing I would say is to not call them "mess ups", maybe like "lives" or maybe "gods favors", but the language of using "mess ups" in your instructions makes it sound a little unpolished, and maybe unclear. With the red font, I thought I was messing up every time at first, not that I was being allowed them. Maybe you could turn that value into a fractional format?

Overall, it's a good and fun game!

I loved the concept behind your game, it's such a cool idea! That being said, I did find that the difficulty ramped up quite quickly, which made it tough to keep up. Perhaps introducing columns more gradually could help players ease into the game.

Overall, great job!

@kent-lizardo Thank you for your comments and suggestions! You're absolutely right, red was a poor choice. Also, I never thought about how different shapes can make the game more accessible.
@joaosilva22, @bassilij, @xwilarg thank you for your input on the difficulty rampup. If we ever continue with this work we we will try and make it more manageable :-)
@xwilarg You are currently the high score earner!

__YOU DELIVERED 0 PARCELS, GOOD JOB!__ _incredibly epic music starts playing_

Had a good laugh for the unexpected ending, honestly didn't understand the game at first but after that I had quite some fun. The difficulty ramping is quite unbalanced.

@kent-lizardo @joaosilva22 @bassilij @xwilarg @zsharpfire @payaosito Last night before the submission deadline I hopefully made the ramp up less insane, Give it a shot :-)

@ninnec I gave it another shot and I think it's indeed a bit easier? (I got 111)

Only little annoying thing is that when you want to try again the whole tutorial thing is a bit long

Also I think I got situations where there was no good answer?

@xwilarg Thank you for giving it another try! Actually, the pairs you have would have worked. We were not sure what people would think of with matching pairs (or triplets), so we made it forgiving. It can be an exact copy or a mirror. So hammer,scroll matches both Haephaestus,Athena and Athena, Hephaestus. I should have added a one more tutorial level to explain that

The art for the game was great and the concept was also pretty unique!

I actually loved the inclusion of the columns because at the time they were introduced, I was starting to tire a little bit from the easy gameplay lol

I guess the main thing that I wanna critique is that from my experience, there's no audio indicator of when you get a package wrong. It's always got a "ping!" sound which while I do appreciate and it makes me feel like I'm doing everything right, it's not made entirely clear to the player when they misdeliver something.

Other than that, unique gameplay idea, nice difficulty ramp, cool art, solid entry!

(By the way I got to 45 parcels)

Good gameplay, and a very helpful playable tutorial! The character animation is a nice touch, as is the forgiving nature of the matching order. The difficulty pacing seems pretty good and I was able to keep up most of the time. Managed to get 62 delivered! :)

Simple concept executed quite well, I was curious at first because of how easy it starts but the difficulty definitely ramps up in a fair way.

Took me some time to figure out what was going on, but once you get the hang of it, it is quite a fun game! Hermes managed to deliver 35 parcels to the gods :)

Great unique game, I like this take on the theme and I definitely found it difficult when it sped up. On my first run, I actually didn't notice that the columns were cycling, I thought it was just randomised. Maybe an animation of it sliding up would have helped with that, but I also should probably have noticed.

A good addition could be a way to anticipate what the next round will be; maybe displaying it on the right side of the screen so you can prepare after locking in the current one. Although, I'm not sure how you would display what's coming when there are multiple columns.

It was fun! My top was 66 parcels. I had just one issue: the forth row of parcels hardly fit the screen, not sure if it is intended or web build issue.

@k8n Definitely not intended. It was an issue I didn't catch because I always tested in full screen :-/

I got 49 on the first try.

Good:
* characters and items art
* on theme, fresh and fun gameplay idea
* tutorial
* music

Meh:
* Background and ui art
* juice
* cycling the items with space instead of arrow keys (both directions)

Bad:
* same sound for sucessfull and uncessfull delivery

nice game, and I totally agree that the sound of successful and bad delivery should be different.

Fun and simple game. At first I wished they would move faster, then I later I didn't have enough time to react 😂. One annoying thing is when it reaches the 5th or 6th columns, I can't see anything on that side so I simply gave up.

I thought it was way too slow at the beginning but soon ate my words as the deliveries became more and more complicated. It was well put together and I liked the art you used. I think it would have benefited from a bit more juice in the interactions as after a time it felt a bit flat. Other than that not much to add. Good work

Cool game idea! I had a decent thing going, thinking "this isn't so hard haha" . . . by the end of my run, my eyeballs were spinning trying to keep up. No issues with controls or bugs I ran into - overall good entry! I liked the art too. I'm not confident I can get much higher than this score.
