~~@captainalexwest how did you manage to play the game ? At this time of writing, there's only a link to the source code ; did you compile it yourself?~~

Lack of sleep :D

@ace17 it is embedded into this page, right on the top.

Game is fine, but I prefer backward movement with inverted horizontal input.

And some restart button will be nice, don't want to reload page after I stuck between houses.

I actually really, really enjoyed this. The way the car handles feels a little janky at first, but what I like is that the game incentivises learning the street names, as well as getting used to the feel of the car, encouraging you to keep your foot down and get used to navigating the streets. The style is excellent, and it really hits getting into that flow state. Well done!

Only niggle is that I think left/right are going the wrong way when reversing - but I also don't want to reverse because it's slower, so it really is just a niggle.

770 was my best score, that was a super solid run, I just went pizza pizza pizza and sometimes there were even houses next to each other, it was a very lucky run overall.

Super fun arcade-style game! I got really into it trying to find more shortcuts, I think that taking damage reducing points also added a new interesting dimension to it since you can't just skip from park street to elm street without carefully maneuvering through the houses. Had a lot of fun with this, great job!

Neat graphics. The car movement was a bit difficult when driving up-down with opposite controls. Had fun delivering the pizzas and losing points to the crashes lol.

Once I had played for a bit, I liked the movement of the car, the skidding was very fun. I also liked learning the layout of the map. At first I had to search for each house but it was easier (and more fun) once I learned the street names. Also, I found it funny that only the car had to be in the target square, it didn't matter which direction the pizza went flying  . I think that was the right call from a difficulty perspective, but it was hilarious at times.

I think a cool variation could be knowing the next two deliveries, instead of just the next one. That would allow for more strategic gameplay since you could plan your movement more.

First I wondered, is there's a map to know where to go, then I discovered there were only 3 streets, so it's cool to learn and know where the streets are. The movement of the car is fluid.
I did 585 points at my best. And I'm still playing!
Good game!

Edit : my personal best is now 770points !

THis was neat! Crusising around took some getting used to, but was fun once you get the hang of the controls. I kind off wish there was a little indicator telling you where the correct street was as I'm really bad at remembering names, but I found I actually did learn the map somewhat after a bit. Graphics are really nice as well!

Fun game! I really enjoyed the movement feel. The idea is fun too. My only suggestion would've just been more audio/music but I get you're doing the compo so that's really hard. Great job!

Nice polished entry - simple game loop and easy to pick up. Good job... car was a little floaty... but it's rather difficult to get that feeling just right :thumbsup_tone1:

Nice little game, but it was very hard to navigate without any hint.

There's a lot I could say about how fun it was, the graphics and gameplay being solid, and overall how it just works for the theme and as a good time, but I think all I really need to say is how GOOD you nailed the feeling of doing a donut in some suburban driveway just to launch a pizza in the right direction. That's what really matters.

solid gameplay, the movement felt a little floaty at first but i got used too it. I liked that the game encouraged learning the street names something not every similair delivery game does. I do wish there was some music though

Nice game. It took not that long to lean the road layout. I liked that you had to figure it out as you go. The controls were good and fun, but more on the arcade side and I probably just prefer it a bit more acurate. At some points it felt like controlling the waiter in our game :D

I enjoyed playing your game. Once I knew where the streets are, I felt like a pro in the neighbourhood.
Movement is bit confusing when going backwards, but that's ok.
It's nice that the pizza can be thrown only out of one side of the car.
The graphics are cool.
