Great riff on the age-old riddle of how to deliver the fox/mouse/grain intact across the riddle in a canoe, but with extra animals to figure out. I enjoyed observing the new animals and how they interact with the others to figure out what pairs well with others. Play with the audio on - you'll need the cues to figure out some of the levels.

Look at that gang! All on the right side of the river too.![crossing.PNG](///raw/7bd/83/z/59350.png)

Great puzzle! I had a good time working it out. One small bug: on the end of the final level, I had everything to the right, and the vase and fox were in my boat/elephant. I put the vase on the right shore, and the game said I won before I deposited the fox. Overall great game, and great experience!

This is a very cute and well done puzzle game! I'm usually super bad at this kinda of game, but having it that visually cute with nice sound effects made me wanna persevere and try to solve all those levels! :)
Great job!

Fun game with a nice well balanced difficulty curve. I enjoyed learning the different animals behaviour through trial and error. Easy interactions and cozy mood.

Awesome entry! At first i was confused about what to do (because i never read the Itch or Ludum pages) but i got the hang of it pretty quick! I accidentally went back to the main menu on, what i assume, was the last level and i couldnt easily go back to it :(

I had a good time playing!

I liked this puzzle game a lot. Nice implementation of the classic riddle. Music was very fitting and relaxing.

It would be nice that after each level hints would be added on screen of what you learned from the previous levels. Start with no info, then after the first level is complete have a reminder that mouse eats grain, after the second level fox eats mouse would be added and so on. That way you can look at it and not have to memorize it all.
Specially for a game jam having to memorize things is hard if you are testing multiple games in a row.

Other than that, I kept accidentally clicking on the sail for the trip back when I wanted to unload what I was carrying because the boat flips when it arrives to shore. Maybe making a boat design that has the sail in the middle so that it doesn't change places would be better. It's just a small detail though.

Either way great job!

I LOVE this game! This is such a great spin on that old, dry as bones puzzle we all were impressed by as 6-year olds! I love, love, love it! It looks so simple and "cheap" at first glance, I'd never have guessed it from your header image, but your game turned out one of my FAVORITES this jam! Everything you did here oozes so much charm, the animal (and vase) rules, the cute graphics, the super fun sounds and the ingenious puzzle design!

There are only 2 minor things: 1) I would have liked a hotkey for the boat to start sailing since it can be a little crowded on the boat with one of the larger animals which makes the sail harder to click.
2) for me it was not immediately clear the elephant can carry animals (and the vase) too, maybe add that to its description ;)

Apart from that, this game is perfect to me in its simplistic way! Thank you for having this idea, realising it and sharing it with the world (especially me)!

Really nice puzzle game, brings back memories and i was eager to finish all the levels, very expressed you made so many levels compared to that short time! It could have a little more details in the graphics but overall a really great game!! :)

Very funny and good game ! I love the look of the tiger and elephant, very funny !
The music is very good, but the sound effects are a little too loud, even if it's very good too
Very funny to revisit this well-known little enigma like this, I really like it!

Way to expand on a classic riddle! The animal sprites read really well. The game can be figured out through trial and error alone, but if I had one suggestion it might have been to highlight which other characters each item/animal would interact with when the player highlights a choice.

Music and sound effects help set the mood! The sound effects might have been a touch too loud on default, but thanks for adding the options sliders to tweak that to taste! Well done!
