Bunpacking by Chailotl
Bunpacking!
You're a postbunny and need to make some deliveries to houses around the island, but the Nabbers, some raccoony rascals, are here to give you a hard time and snatch some goods for themselves!
Pick up the parcels and leave them at the delivery spots, the farther they are the more points they're worth... but don't let the Nabbers take them away! Once the Nabbers make it off with the goods you'll never get to deliver to that address again! Do remember also that everyone loooves a hard worker, so the more packages you're carrying at the time of delivery the more points you'll get, and the slower you'll move.
Controls
WASD for movement
K for picking up packages, L for dropping them
J for attacking once your bunny paws are free!

Both the Nabbers and the delivery rabbit are super cute.
Well done!
PS—how did you get shadows off the 2d elements? I have never been able to figure that out.
great job!

Overall, a super cute and fun experience. Loved the 2D sprite art in the 3D environment, and I appreciate you linking the tutorial above on how the shadows were done.
@ludumdarevd6xh Can't deny a little inspiration from the Paper Mario games, they just look super nice and making 2D sprites is a little easier for me than 3D models x3
@dan-allison Taking them all at once is where it gets all the more fun and intense >:3

Some easy fixes that would help a lot with this game would be to randomize the package you need to deliver rather than letting you pick whichever one you want. Another easy adjustment would be to have them stop running to the package after you deliver it. Maybe randomly give each one a point to return to after the package has been delivered so they start off more spread out.
Overall I really liked this game!
Hopefully we'll have a post-jam version soon, hoping to make it more challenging all around >:3
Thanks for the feedback!
Thank you! It's an aesthetic I really like and so I tried my best to make it look good.
We had lots of fun juking out Nabbers ourselves which is why we left them like that x3
The graphics look great as well. There is a bit of gap between the speed you move in, and the feet animation, but other than that, it looks great !
Great entry.
Cheers
btw it would be good to make a post office pointer
I liked it quite much, the sprites render very well in 3D.
Great work! :ok_hand:
felt like doodling
