McTremson Bar by collaboration
Controls: mouse, you just have to use mouse for everything.
You need all endings to completely finish the demo.
Shut down dialogue cloud - just click on it.

Hey everyone!
We would like to introduce our LDJAM33 game - McTremson Bar!
It's a dark but funny point'n'click noir pixelart quest with jazzy score, that will bring you back to the...well, to the old times, yeah, old times with classy gentlemen and beautiful ladies.
So, you're here, in the bar. What you supposed to do? Same stuff as usual of course - drink, chat with someone, pickup girl maybe, just have fun! But wait, where is the monster, oh, you will find it out soon, very very soon ;)
Sure, there are bugs here and there, but anyway - you can open all endings in this demo, and we'll be really glad to hear some feedback from you guys!

Had a bit of problems interacting with stuff though. In the end I was just clicking everywhere until something happened.
Good job for a jam, would love to see it more polished.

Thanks man, we know these issues, and we will surely fix'em later, btw - your game is great :)
The gameplay idea of repeat the day more time to discover the secrets and the moves you have to do is great!
Nice graphical style. BEST MUSIC SO FAR! AND GREATEST MOOD!
Well done!
A faster walking speed would have been nice.
Had trouble finding 2 of the endings. would love to see more polish too.
Lol, that's really cool idea, we should think about that, thanks a lot, man!
The jazz was also beautiful, did you play or used some program? Although I don't know if it's a bug or just too difficult but nothing changes - I keep spilling the bottle she never wants my help and it doesn't matter what I say just wierd stuff come up in the news paper like: "Metal in the center of the city" Do you mean the robot?
But isn't it YOU are the monster? I feel like there's a twist I yet discovered; still pretty nice entry!
Thanks for feedback, man! I used Miroslav Philharmonik and Reason 5 mostly to compose these tracks, also it was my third and fourth tracks in modal jazz (I wrote a lot of jazz earlier, but not modal), and I am really glad that you liked it :) And yeah, all those things looks like a bug, we will check it out, and sure - plot needs more work on it, so we will try to explain everything better in next versions.
Sometimes its difficult to make the story advance.
I felt like the character walked a bit too slow. I spent a lot of time just waiting for him to walk over somewhere. Also the dialogue boxes were a little odd to interact with; I kept walking when I tried to click them. It felt like you should be able to click anywhere on the dialogue box to clear it and the character's actions would be "paused" by them.
Overall a great entry!
Oh, now I got it, yes, you need to do something, and only after that she would talk to you, there is no bug here :)
Thanks for feeback! This was really helpful!
Possible bug: I'm not sure if this is a bug or not but in one of the cycles the barkeeper says "Oh there is no Whiskey" but then doesn't leave the room. The game doesn't progress any further from that point and clicking doesn't trigger any events.
Oh,thank you, good sir, we truly appreciate it! We would also recommend you finest cuban cigars to make this evening unforgettable!
Yes, what happened to you is certainly a bug, we will explain this rude barkeeper how to handle a noble gentleman! We are really sorry for him.
Best Regards,
Collaboration
The yay:
- art + audio = mood
- multiple endings
- various dialogue options
The nay:
- really slow movement, making repeated playthroughs a pain after a while
- sometimes I felt like the font was off (particularly visible in "What the hell is going on" dialogue option; double "l" looked like a bold vertical bar)
- I still can't understand what *exactly* happens when; e.g. if there's any point of the "did you see anyone strange?" guy or why "put the cent" results in that ending; I can't even tell if it's because the game is unfinished or it was an intended ambiguity; the full version would probably help, I guess?
- woman's walking animation looks kinda weird O.o"
Also, if I were to pick a point where the use of theme is the most clear, I'd guess that'd be terminator ending (when you agree to come with that robot guy). At least I imagine that the main character destroyed the terminator and that's where the pile of metal came from.
Thanks for feedback! Yeah, sure, there are bugs, we just weren't able to make 100% working version, sure, in full version we will fix all these things to make story more clear, once again - thanks for feedback, it was really heplpful!
I wish it was clearer what objects you could interact with and what you couldn't at the moment. Took me a bit before I realised the different colors on the little pointer things =)
Really nice jam entry ^^
OK, so you reeled me in, I was captivated, and I couldn't find 2 of the endings. I tried every combo I could think of and played multiple times, but couldn't do it. Loved the game, wish I could've seen the rest.
Thanks for feedback, yeah, sure, I can explain - I click on the arrow, and the boss put his hand down not at this particular moment, but after small delay, so this dude who's trying to kill me could run away.
I think that the game (mine too btw.) suffers a little from interactions without feedback but overall really good entry!
Overall a very good entry and I'm sure that in final version you'll achieve full clarity :)
The walk speed is too slow, and I had to give up because there just isn't anything obvious left for me to click on and I can't leave. The bartender is gone, and all I have left is a bottle to sip and a jukebox to touch.
The premise seems really cool and the appearance is top notch.
Great entry!
the game seems to have some bugs however. it seems that sometimes you can get it into a state where it will not progress, usually when i click on something immediately after something else starts (this is not due to any dialogue cloud).
It looks like the events that happen are random each time. So every playthrough can be different. That is nice in that it makes the game more replayable, but it is frustrating when I'm searching for endings.
Wonderful job!
The movement was a bit slow, especially when playing over and over again. I really tried, but failed to get the last ending. I also only managed once to not get the "I'm busy" answer from the woman, I suspect my missing ending may be in that direction.
IT took me a while to figure out, but it was well worth the trial and error.
You did a great job!!
The graphics are nicely drawn but the animation often seems placeholder-ish. For example when the woman slips and her sprite is just rotated 90 degrees while she continues walking.
Thanks for answering =]
Keep composing :P
However I could never get the lady a drink. Watch some replays on youtube and I follow the exact same order of events. Hence, couldn't get all the endings. Sadface.
