Really nice entry. =) I liked the varied mechanics traversing the same territory back-and-forth. And the final journey really elevated the game into something special. Nice work!

Great concept! I liked the changing mechanics and story. I had some problems with low FPS and the music stuttering when the frames dropped. Very good otherwise!

Really great game! The art is fantastic, it's got an intriguing story, the different mini games were engaging and I felt the time pressure even though it seems there was no timer. Excellent all around, great work!

YOOO the ending was wild! I did not expect that from a little fun game like this. So creepy, I'd love to see the next chapter.
Aside from that the gameplay was great! I found the little easter egg ;) My only con would be that the sped up music was a little much after a while, got a little scratching sounding. Awesome game!

Fantastic execution and the sudden change in tone/story really surprised me. I was all giddy jumping and running around and then suddenly that dilemma came up. Wow. I didn't know what to do after that as I didn't want to deliver the message but I had no choice.

Regardless very good job on getting this all done for the compo. Now I must question my ethics lol!

Excellent music as expected, love how it is dynamic. Very dark ending! Only thing I would suggest is that the fast running section feels a bit uncomfortable especially with the camera follow. Looking forward to the extended version of the music!

Great entry! I didn't care for the running part of the game. Awesome story elements. I was able to break the game by jumping the fences at the top of the map, which was fun for me to see part that I wasn't supposed to see.

oh no... was there a way to not deliver the letter to the professor?? oops, my condolences to the greater good of humanity 囧

i liked the writing sooo much haha, really wasn't expecting to see the messenger boy's internal dialogue but it gave the story so much depth i think. the map design and tileset were also great. each time i climbed up and down the mountain, i couldn't help but to wonder if it was even the same route. got stuck in so many places, especially when running!

good job :D i can't believe you made this all by yourself!

Oh man, so much nostalgia. Really well done with the art and music! The idea for adding new mechanics for each letter was a nice twist and made it feel like a new mountain on every trip.

I did notice that sometimes I got stuck on/in obstacles (eg. if I timed my jump wrong and landed on the fence). I was able to jump again to get out of it and never had to restart or anything but it did break the flow of "go go go deliver the letter fast".

Really great game i like that the music speeds up to make it more exiting but stops at the plot twist

Short but wonderful game. I like the concept and how a single level is reused. The npc are cute and the story made you want to know what's coming next.
My favorite part is when you unlock jumping. i felt that the fast running is more of a punishment that a reward, the control are hard and you character feels like they are running on ice
The music is really good and the art style is well polished (Zelda inspired  )

Good game, well done

Another TIC80 game (thanks for the mention).

I loved the art style & music. Gameplay was a bit repetitive though. Also, jumping was the most fun upgrade.

Another TIC-80 game indeed! Kudos for the use of a custom palette as well.

I love how the music speeds up on each repetition, and how each trip adds a different mechanic to mix up the experience. I think it goes on just long enough to not be repetitive. I liked the plot twist at the end but I feel like it could've been elaborated upon; you spend the final trip pondering the twist, then you get back and the game just kinda ends without exploring it any further. I can understand, though, since this is a Compo entry, so you probably didn't have time to elaborate any further. I also noticed a couple of minor typos, things like missing apostrophes.

All in all, this is a great entry, and I should definitely check out more of your games in the future!
