got max move speed and demolished everything in my way, the combat was surprisingly fun for what it is, dodging and weaving fudgin shizz up man

It was good! I ended up maxing out my speed to blitz everything :D The music was a little repetitive but otherwise fantastic job for 3 days. Also the jokes were perfect dad jokes!

It's very funny, with a great potential! Love the SFXs and jokes!

Love the popping heads of characters! Clean fighting.
I wish you could skip dialogues or speed them up, when you repeat your run you wouldn't need to read them again, although they are quite good! In some dialogues letters are layed on or spread out and because of that hard to read.

I died a few times and it made me wish there was a skip dialog button. The game was really funny and the mood was on point. Honestly one of my favorite submissions so far

My favourite game so far. Definatelly funny and creative. Reminds me of old school game-boy games. I feel that who ever did this poured their heart to it.

You really nailed it with a theme and fun gameplay. These kind of simple games are what jam is for.

- funny and well written dialogs (big + for the avatars :D)
- enjoyable music
- combat was engaging

My cons
- combat hit boxes felt of, I tried hit and run tactic but it didn't felt rewarding as I got hit a lot without proper feedback if I should get hit
- little bit darker main menu for my taste
- after a while dialog letter sounds were annoying

Cool adventure game! I enjoyed the variety in the character sprites and the hokey stuff the NPCs had to say. The combat was difficult for me and I almost had an easier time running through all the enemies than actually fighting them. Nice job!

There's a lot of game here! Very ambitious for one weekend, and I liked that there was a large amount of content. Probably my biggest gripe was the s l ow d ia l o gue; I found myself skipping interactions with NPCs because I didn't want to wait through them. Nice entry, though.

I absolutely love the character portraits in dialogs, hilarious.

Love the sword noise! Would have been great to have check points. Also the enemy hit boxes weren't what I expected. Great cast of characters and lots to see!

Theme ok. A little annoyance I had is my non US keyboard required to be switched to US layout for wasd movement. Some dialogues, although funny, were a bit too long. Maybe make these skippable
