I think you'd also want some form of currency to force the player to make decisions about what crops to buy and plant in what order. As is, you can seemingly just buy out the shop whenever you want.
I hate to give a game that I feel like I would enjoy a low rating because that has been discouraging for my own game development efforts but for now, it's my honest opinion. Some kenney.nl UI assets and sound effects will do wonders for this game, trust me. Keep up the good work! I feel like you have something cool here.
The deliveries are so quick to run out of time and you gain so little hearts per delivery. This was stressful for me, but also i was like "whatever" because I didn't have any context. Do I have to help my farmer grandma who has a broken hip and can't grow the crops ? Am I making illegal vegetables in a world where only synthetic food is pushed to the consumer by BIG FOOD ?
It has the potential to be something good. Once you have some graphics, some sound, some feedback overall, and some balancing, you might have a nice little game ! Good luck to you !
(tips: check if raycast pass through UI to block it, either disable vegetable colliders to be able to click plot through it or make it so that you have to click the vegetable itself to harvest it, give players all the info they need easily accessible -such as growth time- with tooltips when hovering the buttons)
One small detail--I'm a bit confused why clicking on a square sometimes opens the inventory menu. I find this kind of distracting, I think I would rather the inventory only opened when I explicitly asked it to.
Overall though, it was fun to sort of figure out the gameplay loop and start pumping out deliveries with some efficiency.
In general your idea was very nice and in theme. I think if you had some more time you could make it a real thing and it would really be nice to play. Keep up my friend! Good job!
