Veeery cool. I really like the aesthetic and I found myself intreaged somehow. Maybe because the atmosphere is very nicely achieved. I was actually kind of tensed up while playing. Love these dark games alot!

One Note: The abilities don't seem to add alot to the gameplay tbh

cool game, the upgrades to movement was a nice reward to have for collecting the flames

A Metroidvania in a Game Jam is *ambitious* but you really pulled it off! This game has a lot of atmosphere and packs a lot of fun into a small amount of time.

One thing I love about the Metroidvania genre is that feeling of exploration you get while you're playing. It think with some more graphics assets you could be setup to do something really cool here!

The difficulty was a bit high for me, to be honest -- but I also suck at platformers. Great job!

Honestly stopping the gravity is one of my fave. Pretty dark and creepy game, thats good, didnt know what to do after a few min, maybe some kind of minimap would solve this problem? Great work anyway :)

Great artwork and atmosphere! Its nice that you packed so many movement mechanics in a short period of time, but I really only found myself using the double jump. I found I got stuck in the air when double jumping while floating and I was no longer able to progress and needed to restart.

Great atmosphere! I found it interesting that the enemy became more powerful over time (or at least, began to fly). I didn't realize at first that I could wall jump, so I spent a lot of time running around the first room trying to figure out where the fifth flame was until I figured it out. Nice work!

At first i felt like the movement speed was a little too fast but once i got used to it, it felt good. Really cool game, the only thing i would potentially change is that some of the abilities were on the mouse, and before i unlocked them i was using my other hand jump. That being said figuring out the controls can be hard so maybe the way you did it is best. I also found if i pushed into the wall mid air i was able to get another jump off even if i didnt have double jump. This was still an awesome submission and one of the better games ive gotten to play this jam.

I'm a sucker for platformers that feel good to control so you got me there! Fun upgrades and I felt the difficulty was good. There was some artificial/not fun difficulty created by looking at the map and running from the spooky boy at the same time. I feel like there is something to gain in that area.

Also would've been fun to have new areas unlock by using your abilities (gaps to jump over etc). Overall good game, I love how it plays!

Very great job for a solo jam game :)

Just feel like it lake of a coyote time to be more satisfying to move and a physical material with no friction on your character. Still a great job btw, gg !

I like the mood and the graphics of this game, the character also feels fun to control, very nice.

One thing to note, and probably fix - it has a gamebreaking bug where you sometimes stay hovering, and then cant fall, if you're high enough the enemy cant get you so you cant reset either :(

Great interpretation of the theme! Loved the aesthetic and the atmosphere. I felt a sense of exploration that reminded me of Hollow Knight. Well done team!
