Push! Toot Boosting by Seth Funk

[raw]
made by Seth Funk for Ludum Dare 53 (JAM)

Solo dev who had 6 hours to work on a small project. Hope you have fun with this kitten cannon clone!

Controls: The game is based on timing!

-Spacebar to select angle to launch and how much power you'll launch! -Spacebar to use 3 additional toot boost to launch even further! -Enter to restart game.

There are birds and trampolines to bounce off of to gain additional distance. Didn't have time to add any real fail state besides just running out of momentum. push!.png

VERY fun. My Top Score was 9500 but just because i didnt want to wait for another minute to reach 10000. The Momentum never stops.

it's funny, especially in the beginning and when you use the 3 boosts, nice sound:))) but after a while it gets a little repetitive

Funny entry, good job for 6h. Got a 9k score before start rolling on the floor.

I really like the sound effects. Great job for such a short development time.

The return of 'Yeti sports'. I think that after ~10000 there is no more floor.
Nice game for only 6H !

Very fun and impressive for a 6 hours build!!
Only problem I found was the baby apparently not having friction, so the only way to stop was with the bouncing mats.

I love the art style of this game. It has a raw, surreal feel to it. The mom in her room β€” this image in itself is a work of art. The music is good as well. It’s relaxing to watch the baby bounce around, listening to the music.

In a way, it’s like life: one bounces and rolls until one stops. What happens afterward? Perhaps a sequel to this game can answer that question.

Beeing able to deliver something like this in 6 hours: Respect! A bit long to wait for the baby to advance, but hey you can play with the green bar of the launch power display

It's like a yeti sports mix. I spent so long playing those as a kid

It's funny how absurd the mother looks. A bit more drag to make the baby stop rolling faster would've been nice. Now it takes ages.
