Earth has fallen and humanity has fled to other planets.

You are the leader of your own settlement on a planet with ancient alien technology but your settlement is not the only one. Other rival settlements, out of greed and desperation, are hoarding ancient tech to become more advanced and be the last settlement left.

It is up to you to decide what your settlement does in order to stay alive on this new world.

This game was made in 72 hours as part of Ludum Dare Game Jam 36. Theme is Ancient Technology.

Music credits belong to Aaron Krogh.
Background credits belong to Kevin Chaloux.

Left-click to choose a card when asked.

You have three bars. One is the affection your settlement has for you, one is the amount of tech you have gathered and one is the amount of tech left to discover.

If the affection bar falls to zero, your settlement will abandon you.

When the amount of tech left goes to zero, a massive battle will occur between the different settlements, the winner of which being the one with the highest amount of tech gathered.

Intro screen looks really good, game play feels like its, completely random, felt no indication on how to succeed, but maybe that's is the point. The events are funny though, and I really like the music.

Nice music, game feels kind of random, like the lekiy says, but it's fun and that's what matters! Thumbs up dude!

I really liked it. The music and the polish of the UI are really good. It makes it feel professional. The art is very nice. I would have liked maybe more indication of what the outcome of a choice would be. For example, it felt a little like a lot of the game was based on randomness. Still, I like the idea of managing risk-taking vs playing it safe. Very cool game.

Nice music. The choices felt pretty repetitive after a bit, it may have been nicer if the tech left dropped faster.

Really liked the game mechanics. This genre looks familiar, but I really liked implementation. I have never seen something like this before.
I think that game needs more connection between events, to make decisions more valuable

Had a good feeling at start but it somehow let you down a bit when it all felt random. Some choices couldve been remembered and impacted later on?

Great art and sound. Would have prefered it if the "stay back" card wsa more of a safe bet and the "send runner" more risky. They both just seamed very random to me.

The background music and graphic art is engaging, but I feel the gameplay is random. Cool concept though. Cheers..

Neat aesthetic but really lacking in gameplay. It feels like it's always a coinflip that happens to make bars go up or down, I need some feedback to determine whether something is worth the risk or not.

i like the game, very good graphic and art style, awesome music
i get the futuristic theme/vibe only from the GUI, the card style option is nice, but it'll be nicer if we have more than 2 option, so far its just a bit too slow, and too repetitive since theres no branch of option

The concept rocks, and with a few minor tweaks, it might be really great. Liked it!

Not a fan of complete(?) randomness but the music is the best I've heard from the jam so far.
