Amazing art and spectacular music. The theme and lyrics were amazing. I was humming along. I wish the crates fell faster you have to wait a long time while they fall onto your boat. They also are too easily knocked off. Small bug: My score didn't change on replay. It was fun, I wanted to play for longer than 60 seconds. If you expand upon this game I would love for a more fleshed out mission structure. Maybe have different types of cargo. Different boat abilities and powerups would be cool too. I enjoyed the simplicity of this version though. Very well scoped for a game jam. Tentacle pickup interactions were perfect. Incredible job!

Nice game! I really like the shaders and overall look of the game. The perspective makes it a little bit difficult to see where the containers would be dropped (maybe add a shadow?), but maybe that's part of the challenge. Great job!

Holy crap this is so cool! Absolutely love the art and music. The gameplay is simple but unique and I love throwing the cargo around. Movement can be a bit wonky and sluggish at times but you are a massive octopus ship so it makes sense. Overall I love it!

Holy mother of art team, batman!

What a gorgeous, polished game... your art team needs a promotion, stat. The controls were very hard to wrangle, but that fits in theme for being a literal octopus trying to conduct a trading empire. I'm not very good at shipping, it turns out :(

And did I mention there's *a literal Sea Shanty??*

A delight to play, and I second the above commenter's request for a more fleshed-out version. Amazing job!

Not sure if I hate or love the music XD, probably both!

The artstyle and music were well done and felt like they went together very well. I loved flinging the crates at long range though I think they could probably do with some extra weight to make them fall earlier. I also found myself running out of crates so having more spawn would be a welcome improvement.

Really like the music, my main issues are the lack of shadows and the fact that the speed of the kraken causes any cargo on board to just fly off. Maybe have the cargo act a bit more "sticky" when placed on the ship and add a couple of shadows? The artstyle is really good and again, that music really sets the mood!

This jam game feels like a bunch of friends just having fun making a thing and I am so very about that.

The sea shanty is an absolute banger. Also BEAUTIFUL art, both with the models and the motion design/shaders.

Thanks for all the comments! The shadows not working on the boat was a bug in the unity web export we fixed (which we think is in the spirit of the jam's bug fixing rules)

Wowwwwww!!
Helo heck this is really impressive!
Ignore the fact I spent 30s on the title screen waiting and didn't notice one of the supply crates had "new game" written on it. It was hard to ready okay! Hehe.

The music is very appropriate (albeit a little load). The love, love the ship engine sounds too! I found the physics hard to get used to and only manage to deliver 1 or 2 crates each time!

This game looks SOOO good, and it's so simple too. Kudos!

Interesting mechanics for controlling the arms, and a fun idea, too! Loved the artwork.

This art is really pretty and the way the arms move (and how it switches from the left to the right arm) is very cool.

I feel like the controls for moving the ship were slightly unintuitive and could be improved but it was a lot of fun to play even so

Love the music, though I wish it started a bit earlier, or the default time limit was a bit longer. Played through it a few times and I feel like it ends just went I am I starting to get the hang of it.

A very fun game. I really liked the music (my respect is that music with words) and a cheerful atmosphere is sustained.

Holy cow the art is so good here! And I love the crazy control scheme you went for with the two tentacles. My only feedback would be to maybe make the crates a little easier to pickup?

The art-style is so clean and the gameplay is solid! But most importantly, I love the soundtrack! Wonderful game over all!

This is a great game and a cool idea. The art is a standout for me and I like how it switches between tentacles depending on where you're pointing. I noticed containers could pass through the Kraken and maybe if they didn't do that it'd be easier to keep them on the boat!

Excellent music, fantastic visuals. This was a lot of fun to play. The physics were a bit wacky to get the hang of at first (stay on the boat you silly containers) but once I got the hang of it it worked well. Overall a great time, well done!

This was brilliant! Loved trying to put stuff on my boat at first... then giving up and flinging it to the port. Very satisfying controls!

I was impressed with how well you'd implemented the kraken's "animations", they felt the right amount of weighty and it was fun to play with. I even taught him to dance

super fun music, incredible visuals, great touches like all the audio cues and the way the tentacles reach out. i found throwing the cargo difficult, the little plaform on the boat didn't have any utility because they'd just fall off and it was more fun trying to fling them anyway. great game :-)

Insanely well made game, definitely the best visual style I've seen so far. The arm "physics" felt very fair and controllable, but not boring - they're still silly and a ton of fun to play with.

The music - with lyrics, no less? The creative main menu? incredible. great job

What a great game! Felt good and fun to play. Having some levels with some "challenge throws" or something would be great addition as the throwing containers was the most fun
