Item mechanics

Get the seeds from the parents, plant, collect the egg and hatch in the incubator. As soon as the parents come to pick it up, deliver it before they lose patience and leave. Pay attention and give it to the correct parents, otherwise they will leave but come back to give it back. Hint: Memorize the clothes.

Fun little game, though it's lacking polish. I also had no sound at all.

@citsua, thank you for playing! Yeah, it definitely lacks polish, we barely had time to deliver the game as it is.

Turns out I had to install ffmpeg before building the WebGL version on Unity3D otherwise the audio didn't get converted... I reuploaded the build with that fixed, but we only had time to add 2 audios: a background music loop and a sound effect for the incubator.

Your game is so cute!! This is a simple but really cool concept, I see what you are going for. Great job! My only complain is that it's a bit hard to drop the egg exactly where you want, I often ended up dropping it on the floor. Having dedicated spots to deposit the eggs could have helped. Good job!

Such a simple but cute game, I loved the gameplay and the music! Was a bit hard to tell the difference between two different kids so I mixed them up a bit lol but overall good game!

This is a really nice looking game, the graphics and audio are on point and relaxing, I forgot to read the controls so I went in blind and didn't know what I was doing until I scrolled down to see them, after that it was too late for me and I didn't memorize the clothes of the parents. The game is really nice but there are some suggestions I think would help out the game a lot. I feel like there should be a pause menu so you can restart the game because when I gave the wrong baby away they came back but left again and I got stuck with an alien baby and a chicken baby and the parents aren't coming back which soft locked my game. I don't know if it's just me breaking every game I touch or what but this was a really interesting and fun game! Keep up the good work!

The game is very short however I like the concept. I was very curious as to whether or not you would keep track of which baby belonged to the specific parent and not just the type of animal (I played before reading the description) and was happy to find out that you did. The audio was also pretty good. Very cool game for the time frame, great job!

Fun game! It got a good chuckle out of me too because i started playing before reading the description and quickly mixed up the babies. Long story short, I ended up with a lizard baby that no one wanted. I think I'm legally obligated to raise it now. I assume there will be some lawsuits involved as well... Anyway on my 3rd play through I won :)

I like the art! It's not super detailed but its very clear and clean. I can confirm the sound works now, and the music is relaxing. Over all a very nice game, Well done!

Due to the deadline we were unable to put several elements of the original concept, we would make sure that each couple could be of different species and giving a seed of each that way we would have hybrids. We would have more than one stork and could alternate between them. There would be one more object, a liquid that the stork would keep depositing in the vase until the plant blooms and releases the egg.
We would have gauge bars to indicate parental patience. There would also be these gauge bars in the vase and incubator, in this case you would have to remove them before they burn what's inside.
We would have nurseries to organize the babies

I was wondering if someone would make a game about delivering babies haha. Good job with art as well, looks very cute
Overall a nice entry, just wish there were at least a couple more levels

Nice graphics and sound. I didn't understand why I had two children left at the end.

Fun music and animation). Misplaced some babies, but loved the game!

Interesting concept. Took a few seconds to figure out how it worked but eventually got it. Fits the theme and plays nicely.

Short and sweet! I completely didn't realize I'd have to memorize the parent clothes, but somehow got lucky and matched everyone correctly by complete chance. It was a little hard to figure out what to do at first, but after I realized what was going on it was nice and smooth. I'd like a mode where you just keep going until you give away too many wrong babies or see how many you can get in a given time, but it's a great jam entry!
