I had so much fun! It just works so well! The only thing I have to say is that I thought the bottom part was an obstacle until I had no choice but to go there, but maybe I'm just dumb lol
https://i.imgur.com/o2ndik7.png - Best I can do after about 30 mins!
Concept is funny, the execution is great. Movement is smooth - you always feel in control. The rising panic as your tower of tiny people grows and the rocks get more numerous is perfectly balanced.
LD54's best use of Brahms - I absolutely guarantee it!
And yes, I do enjoy classical music and I simply had to use Hungarian Dance No. 5 :)
thanks for playing!
Yippee!!
Forgot to post a credit for the ost. I downloaded the audio from this video, and I slightly pitched it down in the engine.

Pretty fun game, it was interesting as a "bullet-hell" type of game trying to keep your dudes alive but I do have a few notes.
The spawning of the dudes was a little bit too random imho, I quickly ended up in this scenario where it was hard to stay alive because I had these unwieldy towers built from the first 10 guys or so. I would have probably checked for how high a particular part of the stack is and to choose another location if it's too high above the lowest segment.

Also I think I would have liked a small grace period after getting hit, the increased lives count powerup effectively wasn't useful at all since by the time I died I think I had something like 22 guys I could lose before getting a gameover, and I lost all of those 22 lives in about 0.5 seconds because of how dense my platform was at the time. Take or leave that point of advice since it does mess with the game's balance but it would have been nice as an alternative if I only lost one life whenever any number of dudes get killed, have 1 second of invincibility, and have the final score include a bonus for the number of guys you had on your platform at the end for an example.
All in all I had a really fun couple of minutes playing the game, with a few small tweaks I could imagine it being pretty solid especially for a game jam project
