Burden Dungeon by Paroxysmal
You have found the rumored town with a dungeon full of treasure, but only a backpack so big. Search for and bring back treasure to the chest in town. Try not to get overburden from the limited space of your pack.
The web version runs but the game is a little to much for it and lighting does not work correctly. I suggest playing an actual compiled version.
NOTE! The game might seem frozen but its just loading...I did not have time to troubleshoot the loading screen.

Looking at the screenshots, I can see that I did not make it that far yet. Although I had fun playing your game, I did not go very far.
I like the graphics. I think that is impressive for a compo game. I did, however, think there should have been some background music. Right now its mostly ambient music.
Well done! I see that this is your first 3D title, or am I mistaken?
I'll come back to rate, once ratings are opened.
I'm also quite happy with the no-music take as the footsteps alone give it even more mystery and atmosphere.
It has flaws which are very forgivable for a compo game, especially, as I read, for your first 3D. I think with some work you can turn this into a solid short horror game.
I noticed that some collisions with the doors in town caused stuttering.
I suggest to tell the player in some way that there is monster that follows the lantern. Maybe a drawing on the wall inside the cabin where you get the lantern?
Also, I don't know if it's intended, but the monster groans after I put the light away. I lost out of nowhere in my first playthrough and I couldn't tell why because of that. The hit sound effect also plays after I press "return to menu". I'm playing on windows downloaded from itch.
Overall, I got some good frights out of this game and I always appreciate that from a horror game. Nice job!
