Yo, this game is hilarious! I laughed the whole time I was playing it.
Nice difficulty ramp up.
Perfectly on theme. Great job.

I think I experienced a bug, but maybe not, I don't know. The first fews heaps were packed as one box when thrown in the house (which allowed me to stack more so I won't complain). Anyway, nice entry, well polished. I really enjoyed playing it :)

That's a feature @garymarance! You're meant to be able to stack indefinitely!

I may be not playing it right, but I can just keep picking up boxes from the side of the road and I don't have to stack them in the house for them to count. Walking up and down the street gets a little monotonous with no need to stack them and the mailbox sometimes bounces them back on the street and they manage to get under the car which threw them. If the space was limited in some way - forcing player to put them in the house and manage the space it could be very fun to play. I like the aesthetic and overall mood of the game.

Great concept, its really funny picking up an absurd number of boxes and seeing them explode.

I love the physics of the boxes when you stack them up and then released them all just to make the house flooded with packages, The art is really nicely made, personally the pick up sound does get a little annoying when playing for a bit, but if you made it slightly quieter it would make it a lot better, but overall this was a nice submission!

5/5 for the humour category! Honestly the name alone had me cracking up, I got a high score 258! So many elements tickled me, the windows crashing, the brute force at which my little koala dude unloaded the packages, grandmas obscene shopping addiction... One thing I would say is I think the lives in the top left corner should maybe have a 'package' icon, as I didn't realise for a while that I lost a life if a package was run over. Great submission!

This is an accurate simulator of grandma online shopping, I was completely immersed. Those plastic drapes look neat, don't need to be washed, and this plushy toy says my granddaughters name when you pull the string. Now where did I put my credit card?

@mayple Yeah we didn't have a huge amount of time to make the game, so we focused on that part at least!

It's simple, but it works pretty well. One thing that i don't know if it's the way it should work is, when i pick up a lot of boxes, and just press the x button, all boxes will be one box only, i don't know if its the stack mechanic, but overall, it's a great game!

Wow, that's the second grandma game I'm playing on this Jam! I wish I could see the grandma sprite here! Anyways, the idea is really funny, but I think the game could benefit by fine-tuning the growing complexity. While I was just learning the controls, there were already billions of packages outside and they broke my house without even me participating! Those are some reckless delivery drivers!

And yeah, the bug when multiple boxes become one box when I try to pick them up is also reproducing for me (I see on the GIF it's supposed to blast them all at once once you click the throw button, perhaps I did something wrong, sorry).

@spica Yeah sorry, there was one in the alpha version of the game but we just ran out of time and didn't she added enough to be re-added. Yeah those delivery drivers can be so rude some times!

It's not a bug, it's a feature! To be hopefully more fun, stack like 30 packages and let them explode into the house hehe! You hold down the throw button to charge it up and release to yeet boxes around!

What an adorable game! The theme is quite amusing, and I'm a fan of the art design. However, I did experience some frustration when I found myself trapped in a room surrounded by too many packages, unable to do anything but watch as the trucks destroyed them. It would be fantastic to have a 'dash' mechanism that allows for more agile navigation through the room. I'm also looking forward to seeing more levels and additional mechanics in the game for future development. Overall, good job!

Nice idea! Not very challenging, but funny anyway! Feels like a promising prototype. I mean, it's funny to throw the packages and see the mess, but you can just always pile them up instead.

Pretty good! The graphics and story are quite cute. The near-constant deliveries of more packages really made the space feel limiting fast and having to throw boxes into the house and then immediately rush outside to prevent new ones from smashing is pretty fun.

Only managed to get a high score of 148 since I had a little too much fun grabbing tons of boxes and throwing them all at once....

Maybe grandma chill a little on making orders lol. the fact that you can stack a ton of boxes and throw them all at once and ruin the house is both hilarious and also really satisfying.

Sometimes the boxes end up bouncing off the mailbox and get crushed by the car

I like how it uses the theme even tho it's not very limited

It's pretty good and I feel like it has to be even better with some polish and more content!

It was going to be more limited but time ran out, like a limit to how many you can carry maybe so you *needed* to pack the house in a better way etc..
