Harold the Hoarder (Linux only) by Dudum Lare

IMPORTANT
We didn't realize that you need to have the libraries SDL2, SDL2 ttf, SDL2 image, and SDL2 mixer installed to run our game.
Here's how you install them:
```{bash}
Arch
sudo pacman -S sdl2 sdl2ttf sdl2image sdl2_mixer
Ubuntu / Debian (Might be wrong)
sudo apt-get install libsdl2-2.0-0 libsdl2-ttf-2.0-0 libsdl2-image-2.0-0 libsdl2-mixer-2.0-0 ```
Story
Harold has just found his dream home. He could not be happier than in this moment - he will finally fit all his things and also be able to live there! What a joy! Of course we want Harold to be able to gush in this feeling without the troubles of actually moving in. Thats where you come in. You're here to help Harold move!
How to play:
Click on the boxes to open them. This will reveal furniture which you are to place in the correct rooms. Some furniture can be placed in multiple rooms, some in just one. When everything is in place Harold has to check that you placed everything to his liking. Therefore you need to walk him to the red circles. You control Harold with WASD keys. If Harold is happy with it, your job is done.
See this as a chance to wind down, relax and think about other things while you furnish Harolds home the way he wants it. No need to get creative in this game :heart:
Fun fact
This game is only availible for Linux, and that is not because we have anything against windows or mac users, no. The reason behind this is that we made the game engine from scratch, mostly during this weekend too! It put up a fight but so did we, and it's been fun.
One general thing, "game.zip" isn't a very good name, people are downloading a lot of games and that sort of name doesn't help with keeping track of what is what!
(oh, and if you didn't intend to distribute the source, you shouldn't have included the .git directory in the zip file!)
Rotations are buggy but that's whatever. Music is good and fitting.
If you'd include source code, people could also try compiling it on windows.
It was tough enough to play with the trackpad/nipple mouse that I had to plug in my desktop mouse. Even then, the dragging is kind of annoying, the slightest touch with any wall and you can't move the furniture any further. Not to mention that the house only has one entrance and you need to weave through narrow corridors to get everything to their destination (more doors/paths inside the house would be nice). Sometimes the stuff would just stop in the middle of a room without any explanation.
I would like to have an end screen or some feedback after everything has been placed.
The music is chill and fun.
I think you have a good foundation for a decoration game once you iron out some of the kinks.
By the way, keep in mind that you can always make ports of your games after the jam deadline.
I think SDL works with Emscripten, it might be worth a look.
