Purrrgatory by lumie
*First LDjam and decided to challenge myself by making my first project in Godot... so all in all, great choices!
Welcome, dear mortal, to the night shift.
Many of our mischievous residents think that "resting in peace" is merely a suggestion.
Click on the wandering residents to provide them with scritches so that they may go back to making biscuits on their favourite blanket in the spirit realm.
Don't let too many wander off or your shift will be cut short!
UPDATE (version 0.2): Saw folks saying that it was going from 0-100 real quick, and noticed that I had changed up the timer code without meaning to. Cats will now spawn a little slower (as was originally intended)!

Super simple concept with a cute wrapping. Plays like you'd expect, but the difficulty goes from 1 to 100 reeeal quick. I enjoy the frantic pace from a gameplay perspective, but it would have been nice to have some kind of even to trigger the sudden outburst of feline escapees.
Sound would have added a lot of juice here too, check out tools like bfxr if you need to make some simple stuff in a pinch; even blips and bloops can do a lot towards making players feel rewarded for their clicks.
Nice job!
