The game did not start for me on the ldjam website, but on itch.io it worked.

I like the type of gameplay this game is build upon and even though a tutorial would have probably made it easier I liked to explore what does what.

What made it harder than necessary was that you can't see the whole level at once, so some failed tries are almost certain before you get to the boat. This is a valid choice to ramp up difficulty, but for me the exploration of items would have been enough uncertainty :D

Loved it. Reminded me of days when I was much younger playing games like chip's challenge.

I really wanted to finish this game. The game is fun to play and sometimes you need two or three trials to get through. I enjoyed the journey you created. Well done!

It was fun trying to figure out how to get to the boot in time. A bit trial and error, but it didn't bother me. Would have liked to have WASD support, and maybe the level can restart itself after fail. Great design, loved it.

Nice trial and error kind of puzzle solver. The limited space implementation is more of a visibility thing where you need a broader picture to solve. Personally I would like to have an overview, but it is nice to get involved with different approaches on doing puzzles. So thank you for reminding me that there is always another path (pun intended :D )

fun puzzle game, and good use of the theme! Definitely the kind of game with some trial and error, such as checking where each of the portals went and then trying to plan your route accordingly. Was really fun and made me think, nice work!

@bauke-regnerus will do, just to finish the working day and I'll get back to fixes, thanks 👍🏻

Loved every second of it, the game keeps you in suspense and letting the poor cat drown for sure isn't an option, so the brains are braining for sure. Great job!

Came here because @douglass suggested it was like chips challenge and I wasn't disappointed. Nice puzzles, I liked the use of portals to limit or expand the players movement. The music was nice but I felt it could be slightly softer and maybe have a volume slider. I feel like the movement could be a little bit snappier or quicker. Great game!

Cute art! Unfortunately I'm bad at puzzles and died with the boat somehow :D

@kris3 Thanks, the puzzle is made so that you finish while not touching the water (the water has a slight animation when shrinking, so it might felt you were outside after moving, we might need to make it more intuitive I guess)

i really like this idea. it takes a more common idea of "limited moves" and adds a new "limited space" twist on it by shrinking your movable space instead of putting a hard-coded move limit. this allows players to actually strategize because they can move more as long as they're more in the center of the map. so it adds a new dimension in how players optimize their path. all in all, big points for theme, and nice execution!

Incredible game! It's solid in every aspect, not missing a beat! The music and art are fantastic, and the "Limited Space" theme fits perfectly. Everything is well-structured as a game. If I had to critique something, it would be the level design. Perhaps it starts off a bit too challenging with many elements on the screen, requiring precise moves. I believe players would appreciate starting with simpler levels and gradually introducing new elements and challenges. Aside from this minor issue, which is just my opinion, I can only express my gratitude for the amazing game you've created. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great job!

Audio-visualy it's very nice, one of the few entries I've rated 4+ for art/audio, but the gameplay is rather bland and boring, just give it few tries to orient yourself and you're done... except the last level where I gave it several tries until I realized I can just ignore everything and go straight for the bucket :)

The art is very good. The cat death sound is very powerful. The time-based tide challenge was interesting but I thought the rollout of the interactables could have been more linear rather than all at once. It was a lot of stuff to have to remember from looking at it briefly before starting playing.

The idea is good, but the water advances too quickly in the first phase, really fast. It starts off very difficult, I think it needs a balance, it needs to get more difficult little by little
