The character is very beautiful. I just wish there was a way to lower the volume in game as it is definitely too loud. Other than that it was a fun experience with clear and smooth controls.

Funny enough a similar concept of rising death fluid lol, just way more polished. Well designed and looks good

The art is very nice, however I think an imporvement would be if the camera was smoothed and decoupled from the jumping motion

Nice audio, but definitely would have had it a little lower, but the graphics are super great inside the level, wish there was the same work to the borders. !!!LOVE!!! the character animation!

Had fun playing this platformer. Big bonus for the pixel art!

My framerate was terrible so the gameplay wasn't smooth, so I can't really judge that.
I find the wall jump kinda junky, there's no animation and I don't really know when and how i'm supposed to jump against the wall.
Best point imo is the level design, pretty fun to go around

Took a second to get used to the way the wall-jump feels, but had fun once I got it working. Some very nasty traps in the levels but I enjoy deliberately frustrating games so well done! Good work. :)

Jumped into "Lava Run" earlier. The jump controls felt a tad tricky, and there were moments where the ground seemed to disappear on me. An option to jump with the space bar or use arrow keys might help smooth things out. The graphics were on point. And the music is pretty good! Overall, it's a decent game. Finishing a game isn't easy, and you've done well. Kudos to you! 🎮🔥

I'm sorry, but I couldn't pass level 2. I tried wall jumping, but I couldn't make it. Is it possible, or is there another way to get through? It's a shame because I found your game very beautiful, especially the character and background design.

The first thing I noticed with this game was its rather.. interesting... music...
I found the winning screen dance to be a bit too long to the point that it interrupts the flow of gameplay, however the movement did feel snappy and responsive.
the idea of the lava flowing is unique from what I've seen so far.
However the game failed to teach me a necessary mechanic on level 3, where I was stuck and unable to figure out how to continue...

@thejookerful Hello! You can wall-jump by holding the directional input (A/S) while jumping against a wall.

@its-capp Hello! Sorry to hear you're having trouble. There's tutorial text all around the earlier levels to help introduce you to new mechanics. Are you looking for the button in the right corner?

Nice art and concept. I had the same issue as @thejookerful though and couldn't work out the wall jump 😢

Finished all 8 levels! Very engaging game. The wall jump was hard to learn, but after the level introducing it, I felt I mastered it. Art & music go very nicely together and level transmission sequence was a nice touch.

@yndajas Hello! You can wall-jump by holding the directional input (A/S) while jumping against a wall. You'll need to alternate between left and right walljumps to continue doing so.

It would have been nice to run and jump at the same time. Good level design though

Fun concept, sucked at the wall jumping but sort of got it to work. The movement felt a bit jittery, but besides that good job!

The art and music were pretty good. The wall jump mechanic wasn't very intuitive and I got stuck on level 5. Bugged out twice with the lava glitching the board so it stopped moving and then glitching the character on a different time. Adding a little extra head room would make the game feel less cramped.

Vibe was great and a classic time based platformer. The art was good but I think you can explore adding some more forgiving platformer mechanics like coyote time to jumps and wall jumps. Great job team

Great character design and a cool concept. I have to admit that I got stuck at the first wall jump and just could not get past it. After a LOT of attempts I had to just reconcile myself with the fact that I'm bad at games. It's unfortunate because I really wanted to see what the rest of the game had to offer.

Interesting color palette which complements the Indiana Jones theme of the game. Unfortunately because the palette has so much of the same colors everything tends to blend in. Most notably the player character (which is kinda important to stand out) and the rolling rocks. Also I didn't notice the button in level 4 at first.

The movement is a bit clunky, but I don't mind it that much. All the more challenge for me.

Did not car for the movement it felt sluggish and unresponsive, liked the art

Awesome art and music, the wall jumping was really difficult and tough to pull off unfortunately

Looks and sounds great. I didn't expect instant death from a bat, however.

Cool/fun game, love you charater artwork and design. I found the controls to be a restrictive and unforgiving sometimes though.

I think the difficulty progression is too high, in the third phase it became too difficult. that round stone rolling, I gave up there, although perhaps with more effort I would pass, it was very difficult. That bird flying low, the lava is really fast. I think the difficulty should be worked on better.

The game is very beautiful, I like this color palette and the mood it gives. It is quite hard to play though, so I quit after a few failed attempts. The music is also amazing

I love the idea of the lava spreading, graphics are also very cool ! Wall jump is kinda weird to use, otherwise no bug encountered and the levels are interesting, great work !!
