Will Willis and the Temple of Hacha'Kyum by Oddly Shaped Pixels

[raw]
made by Oddly Shaped Pixels for LD36 (JAM)
Help the famous professor and archeologist Will Willis to escape the Temple of Hacha'Kyum...

A small (6 levels only) platformer made in 72h. Havent had time to make all the 12 levels (3 for each mechanic) I had in mind so, it's short and no ki-sho-ten-ketsu to enjoy, sorry...
Hope you still enjoy it!

Hi, nice game and congratulations ! Simple mechanics that still offered a decent amount of challenge. We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.

Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description. (you can already find several games from the jam there)

If I could add one thing it would be to be able to climb up and down the green stuff - some of the jumps are very unforgiving if you can't get into just the right spot. Otherwise it's solid mechanically, and the art and music are fantastic - very atmospheric!

Awesome game! I loved the pixel art, the music, the gameplay, everything. I think you have a solid foundation to do a complete game. Hope you keep working on the idea. Congratulations!

The game is very good. Graphics are awesome. But it was too hard for me to jump across spikes at level 2.

The feel of the platforming is great. The only complaint I might have is that levels scale too fast in difficulty and there are spots where it feels a bit unfair, like a wall climb where the spikes kill you even when the jump seems accurate. Anyways, you've made an awesome job here and it could grow into a very interesting game.
