Limited Space by milano23

Welcome to the megalopolis!
Space is tight, but that's no problem for the ambitious engineer!

Click the starting nodes to start drawing a beam.
Left click again to end the beam. Right click to stop drawing. Connect your beams to each other at their nodes to build a strong stable tower within the limited space available.

Press play to see if your structure will stand, and restart to have another go. Space opens the in game options menu.

Have fun, and thanks for playing!

Web version of game on this site doesnt seem to load, but the link to itch.io is working. Check out the game there if you cant play this one.

The game lacks concept design behind it. I haven't noticed any space limitations either. Also the UI as well as physics feel way too buggy.

I like the mechanic but I don't get the goal. Was there something specific I was meant to be building? Maybe a certain number of pieces I was meant to use each level? It just feels as there is no win/lose scenario.

I have not been able to determine how to play this, even after reading the instruction and trying several rounds. Clicking "Next level" just took me the next thing, without any feedback of what happened before.

Too bad about the bug, but interesting concept. Reminds me a bit of some of the bridge builder type games but you're building a tower instead.

Could be a solid concept for a full game with real physics and tricky levels.

A very nice concept! Sad to see that the game isn't actually finished and was wondering how do you beat each level or something until I read the description on the itch.io that the game hasn't finished. Would like to play the game on its completed version!

I'm probably the worst architect in the game, I do build interesting things, but I don't know how I'm going to win or lose. Looking forward to updates, KEEP UP!

Ambitious idea and good use of the theme. The blueprint style graphics are a great idea to fir the theme but the player might need some more help knowing exactly what goal they're trying to beat - even with your description of 'build higher than the other building'. There are multiple other buildings!
The building system is inherently pretty fun but you might need to restrict the number of beams the player can use or something as it seems like you can keep using the same strategy over and over again. Lots of potential here, overall not a bad entry.

Obviously hard to judge since the game isn't finished. I think you had a pretty good idea and I would love to have seen it. I overscoped too so I sympathize with you. Wishing you the best for your next jam!
