Introducing 'The Horridor,' a reverse tower defense game where you craft a haunted corridor to terrify visitors. Instead of defeating them, your goal is to scare them just enough to boost your earnings. Drawing inspiration from classics like Theme Park World and Zoo Tycoon, The Horridor offers a uniquely thrilling experience where fear is your currency and strategic frights reign supreme!

Dev notes: We had a lot of fun coming up with and working on this game. We managed to create a game loop in time but we ran out of time on some of the mechanics we wanted to implement to make the game feel more rewarding and fun! We hope you like what we have created so far as we are planning on adding the missing features and polishing this game for future release. We appreciate all feedback we can get!

I'm not sure I really understood what I had to do - Creating a corridor and placing "traps" along the way, but I didn't understand when and why I earned money for the next wave, it felt a bit too random. It might help having an idea of the profile of the upcoming visitors.

Two things I would change:
- Is it me or the mouse wheel behavior feels inverted? I would do mouse wheel up to zoom in, and down to zoom out.
- There is an issue when interacting with the UI while the cursor is also over a corridor tile; the previously selected trap is placed in the world while I don't want to (you can easily fix it by checking that you're not over the UI, using EventSystem.current.isPointerOverGameObject() ;) )

I actually spent some time on the intro screen, you managed to create a very cool mood, and the music track fits pretty well!

Good job on the 3D assets, they look awesome with a great attention to detail!

Nice game!

Hey @rolly!
Thank you for your feedback and kind words about our game we really appreciate it!
I made a quick update with the changes you suggested, didn't actually know about the isPointerOverGameObject so thank you for that!

It's kinda cool, i haven't seen a game like that in this jam. I think you can make it a bit darker and a bit more understandable on how to win money.
Great job

Awesome work on it, quite the jolly fun-horror vibe to it. I really dig the atmosphere it has and the graphics. Game-play was a bit confusing at start, but got hang of it fast,it does seem like it has a lot of room to expand in a lot of directions, which is always nice!

Lovely work!

It was easy to cheese by placing a bunch of clowns in a row right from the entrance, the shape of the corridor and my placements didnt seem to affect much. Really cool concept though, I like the idea of designing a horror house.

Definitely made me remember fond memories of RCTycoon days, managing the fear through the maze of spooks felt good - especially when everything came together and they all left with near maximum fear :D!
Not sure if the fainting was registering, or if I was just cutting it that close (they fell over, icon changes - but then immediately got up and finished the spooking paying a tonne for it too!).
Lovely work!
