I've had a rough week, but I refuse to break my 3 year LD streak, so here's a very unpolished submission. At the time of posting, no one has played it but me, and I've been in a barely conscious state for most of the last 3 days. So here's hoping I'm not hallucinating right now, and this is actually a game that I'm posting! Enjoy!

Fun game, I saved all of the dinos. I loved the presentation and I actually thought the game felt quite polished.

seriously though, this is fantastic. Great work, especially if you were struggling the week you made it. I hope you are doing better now, and if not, things gets better, I promise!

Hey tetrapteryx, loved this game! very cute graphics that work well with the small space, nice backing music, and interesting puzzles. great all around. My only suggestion would be improving the yellow boxes that appear when you pick up some rocks (should they show the whole span of the rock shape?). Anyway great game all-round!

(I lost two dinos through the playthough, pls pray for them 🙏)

Also quick question - which version of Godot are you using to get the HTML5 build working? We were exporting with 4.1.1 and it just refused to launch:/

@samboyer276 Thank you!! I'm still using 3.5 because I've had too many problems with web builds in 4 to risk using it for a jam. It's a shame, because I really like the new features :disappointed:

@tetrapteryx Ahh good choice - we dived straight into Godot 4 and weren't aware it was unstable for web, though I heard someone here say it'll be fixed soon! maybe I'll try a 4.2 beta snapshot in the meantime, or backporting to 3.5 :grimacing:

The art is absolutely adorable, and I'm in love with it! The level design is also quite clever, and I had a great time solving the puzzles to save all the dinosaurs. However, it seemed in the level where three dinosaurs first appear, I was able to save them all without even moving the rock. I'm not sure if this was intentional to convey that we don't always need to use the stones to complete a level, but if it wasn't, you might consider redesigning this level. I'm eagerly looking forward to more levels and game mechanisms in the future. Keep up the fantastic work!

@pipima Good catch! I was very sleep deprived when I was making the levels and somehow totally missed that  I appreciate the feedback!!

Really cute little puzzle game! I am a huge fan of the music and the way the dinosaurs seem to sync up with the rhythm.

If this is your idea of unpolished game, I don't know what would happen with a polished one! Very cute art, lovely music and effective sound. I'd like to praise the way you arranged the tutorial, which was clear and solid (I would just add a "back option" in case of misclick, or a summary page accessible throughout the levels).

Very clever game design too: even if apparently the level mentioned by @pipima wasn't meant to be a "skip-only" one, it seemed intentional to me while playing, because a solution given by doing nothing can be indeed a valuable one. Just my opinion though!

Overall great entry and best whishes on your LD streak!

Great premise, upbeat music, and simple but clean graphics! The puzzles were enjoyable, although it would definitely be cool to see more if you had more time, especially at higher difficulties. Overall great work for a game jam entry!

This game is awesome! The puzzles are fun and engaging, and the UI was clear. I love the pixel art and especially the soundtrack! Quite polished for a game jam submission too! Can't think of anything I didn't like about it right now. Just a great game all round! Hope you get some sleep after this!

This is so original and fun, it's brilliant. It's really good. Very good graphics and matching music. I wonder if you were okay, if you say you did it when you were feeling bad. It's a paradox, right? Maybe if I was doing very well I wouldn't have done so well, the world is paradoxical. Anyway, it's a shame this game is hidden from the majority, it should be among the first very easily. But evaluating many games is really painful, it's not an easy task and it takes a lot of time, so there's that. But people should really watch this game. I hope you see.

I absolutely LOVED this game. Art was on point, music had my head bobbin', and the concept and theme implementation were tops! What it lacks in polish, it makes up for in style and fun puzzles. Couldn't let any dinos go extinct! It's a great little jam game that can honestly stand on its own without the need for expansion or improvement beyond some extra juice. Well done!
