PD: Very beautiful cover
I struggled a bit on on the first floor because the mice fell off the platform and prevented me from removing the first box, but it was still enjoyable to play.
It ended a little bit fast, but it was a good ride.
The strongest game points in my opinion are graphics and physics.
Physics is everywhere: boxes can be pushed, rats are active too and interact with the environment.
I wish the game used these physics a little bit more; it feels like there is only one place where it was really required.
Also: it doesn't matter whether you save your little friends or not. Looks like a missed opportunity. :)
The end scene always has all slonokots in the picture.
It would be neat to have a single slonokot in there if you didn't save anyone.
Sound design is good too. I like the menu music the most.
Overall, it's quite polished, but short game. Good work.
And I really appreciate the idea of being clumsy and bulky, and I understand that all the physics work for that idea. But unfortunately it got in the way of completing levels too many times. I could not make jumps, first pushable box in the first level just did not go down for 3 restarts straight (I suppose it should break the small box undeneath but it didn't), and I got softlocks like in this screenshot too many times for it to be funny anymore:

Apart from that, the charm of the game is off the charts, well done!
However... I seemed to have encountered some kind of game-breaking issue? Bug? Oversight? When I first played the game, I jumped up onto the platform, pushed the box, and then it got stuck? And I died... and then when I respawned, no matter what I did, I just could not get past that first jump anymore! What would happen was like, I would jump, and no matter where I jumped from, I would just hit my head on the ceiling and fall back down. Even if I held down D (or A) I wouldn't move to the side. The closest I got was in this instance where his feet got "hooked" on the corner of the platform, but then he fell backwards and back onto the ground. Very upsetting, I had to give up because I felt like I couldn't continue, and it makes me really sad, because I really wanted to beat this game :( the art is so so so cool and I love the hand drawn look.
Navigating with the elephant was pretty hard at times, with often the elephant getting stuck 'floating' over a couple of items, not allowing it to jump anymore.
The graphics were really well done, and the environmental storytelling with scientist-mice and nuclear experiments was pretty fun.
Well done! :radioactive::elephant:🧪 :mouse:
