I think I understand the intended mechanics, but it wasn't possible to collect any resources from the drill. I think the build may be broken. The UI does not match the screenshot.

This game was really cool. Very short (which is great!), I love that there are only three inventory spaces and that you need to use them all to build the rocket. The only thing I would criticize is that I never found out what the third shape did because I was able to build the rocket as soon as I had circles! I enjoyed this quite a bit

Game didn't work when I tried running it in my browser. The tutorial told me to click the triangle. I clicked every triangle i could see, none did anything. ![temp.png](///raw/b69/c5/z/5eff5.png)

This was actually a lot of fun! I had a great time trying to figure out how to make sure I had all the right resources, and enjoyed only having a few inventory slots to keep the resources I gathered. Great job!

The interface for this game is very unique and impressive. It looks like it was a lot of work to implement. I just wish you had had more time for the puzzle mechanics.

I managed to win really easily just by bringing two squares and a triangle to a planet with a circle on it. Though I tried it a second time with just one square and I lost because the game assumed I was stranded.

I don't see a use for the robot arm/conveyor. I figured it was for automatically transporting shapes from a drill to a railgun so you could send resources to another planet automatically. But the railgun doesn't seem to accept shapes.

The controls feel a bit clunky. I think it's the fact that the order you click on things completely changes what will happen with little visual feedback to indicate this. Not a big deal though.

I would really like to see what could be done with this game's mechanics. I think the base mechanic is interesting enough to create a good puzzle game with some more mechanics added.

@gato
The UI starts emptier and fills as you do the "tutorial". The game certainly is a bit janky and temperamental.
@themixedmaster
That definitely looks broken.

What browser are you using? If you could post a screenshot of the browser console that would also be helpful.

@zungryware
If you click the target symbol below the railgun you can then target another planet and it will shoot resources there.

@nathmate I'm using google chrome. my screen is also 2160p so maybe that messed it up? ![temp.png](///raw/b69/c5/z/5f0c3.png)

Ah yes that's probably it, I only tested at 1080p and the mouse's relative position in the screen is used in calculations quite a bit.

The floating UI panel intercepts input across the whole width of the screen so you cannot click on shapes or structures to the right of it even though you can see them. I was able to change the height style for the canvas in html manually to get it closer to your intended view (based on the screenshot), but the minimap is still offscreen. This did make it technically playable and I think its a cool micro-factory game. My screen looked the same as @themixedmaster's screenshot running in either Chrome or Firefox at any window size.

@nathmate Ah, I did not notice that! I had some conveyor belts stop working on me, but once I rebuilt them and had all three resources going to one planet, I could launch as many rockets as I wanted!

Very interesting gameplay! I messed up a bit with the resources, but with polish and maybe a not-so-limited space, this could make a cool space exploration game. Could have used some audio. :)

Cool little game. I like the idea of traveling to different planets to collect resources. The interface takes some getting used to, like clicking the bot, then the canon. Maybe just a right-click style menu would work for those multiple choice type of situations. Good job overall!

Worked well for me, I had my drill, my interplanetary railgun, and my rocket space domination program, all the things a man needs to be happy.

Was fun zipping around planets, digging up resources and turning them into rockets, had a neat space exploration feel to it, I liked that a lot. Great work!

While the game has an interesting idea the user interface needs some more work. There's a lack of feedback and sometimes collecting things just stops working. The bot was very cute!

It's a kerbal-like game, the goal is to send rocket in space, I love it!

I had a lot of fun playing this game. I understand your user avatar now

Nice game! The interface is a bit confusing. The level was pretty short, so, hope to have more updates!

Good game ! At least a game without a timer that we can actually win ! It was pleasant to play, the minimalist art look nice and the travel among planets has a good effect. I want more

good intent, but playing in the browser was super limited, I couldn't interact with any other planets.

This was a bit confusing to begin with though once it got going and after reading some comments got a automated rocket pipeline going :-) very cool.

Fun game! I did however have a problem where the UI was in the way of the planet I was working on which made it a bit hard.

I wanted to complain about how easy it is too win. But then I saw that rocekt/min score screan that apeared, so i realized it was one of those factory games. I liked the simplicity, and buildings were cool. I wasnt able to progress past the first rocket, because I used my single drill as the triangle to build the rocket couse that was the objective :).
The lack of music and sound effects really hurts the enjoyment.

Really fun game, the factorio player in me wanted to automate as much as possible. I was only able to get 2 rocket launches automated, since one of the reds had to be covered up. Would be really cool if the solar system expanded once you passed certain milestones and added new planets. sometimes I picked up a building when I tried to click on my ship so maybe the ship could be a little further off the planet.

I, too, ran into the "high resolution" bug playing the web build on my 4K display. I was able to click around when i moved the window to a smaller display.

It's colorful, I didn't really understand what I was doing, but I got some things built <3

The game lacks a little in polish but the concept is very interesting, this is a very good and original idea.
I see this is your first entry, congratulations !
Little tip for the next one, try to do a quickly done main menu so testers are not immediately in the game, I feel it adds a better feeling.
And nice to see someone doing Haxe \o/

I like the player, very cute design, and jives well with the geometric minimalism to the rest of the game.

The controls are a little awkward, could be improved with a little more feedback indicating what the bot's next action will be. I kept picking up the railgun thinking I was going to launch. There also seems to be a bug where the player can run out of resources while the rocket is launching, causing the player to lose the game, then have the screen changed to the win screen.

I'd just echo what other people have already said. The concept is cool, and I think it was working as intended, but there was a high barrier of entry for me to get into the game and start having fun. Feedback, polish, and UI design will help a lot without having to change the game mechanics at all.

Either way, nice job on your first LD jam!

This was pretty cool! It took me a bit to figure out the system. I was able to get one "rocket factory" built but couldn't get off that island - maybe that's all you're supposed to be able to get? The graphics were simple but cohesive. Some nice background music and sound effects would have tied the whole game together. Creative idea, and well-executed.

Very cool! Managed to make a factory game in such a short amount of time, not bad! :thumbsup:
