Antlantis
Welcome to the world of antlantis. This game is about building an ant colony. On the bottom you can choose between digging and filling, you can also pick a type of chamber to set the type of any chamber you click on. Click on the egg to choose what ants to create. There are 4 types of ants viewed on the top.
- Queen: You always have one of these, if you lose her you lose the game.
- Farmer: Did you know ants in real life farm mushrooms? This is your source of food if you have enough farm chambers.
- Worker: It takes a lot of work to maintain the ant colony, each worker allows you to have more rooms dug out.
- Soldier: These are used to combat outside threats. (We removed them in the end because we didnt have time to fully add them.)
Don't get too comfortable while idling in this idle city builder, or you might lose your ants to a random event.
We are planning to rewrite this game after LD. So if there is anything you would like to see us add, please let us know so we can design our rewrite with that in mind :).
More info about how the game works and info on how to build it is on the github.

Hi there, I tried to build more framer ants but I was stuck at 3/12. Everything else is maxed out but I wasn't able to spawn more farmers.
Impressive colony, in play testing we usually got up to around 30 ants, so its nice seeing someone liking it enough to go as far themselves :)
Even after going through the tutorial I am still semi-confused about the mechanics of the game. Still it's am impressive game for a 3 day jam, it's a colony building simulator with a decent number of mechanics. The lack of visual feedback sort of makes it confusing, I sort of know what the ants are doing but not sure how they interact with the map. I won't penalize you for it though as it's a 3 day jam, this idea is really ambitious and you got a decent amount off the ground. Kudos.
Edit: Found it, but the game is very laggy for me, would downloading it work better?
On that note, this is a pretty interesting concept, I think what would've really helped was being able to see the ants. I made a small base now, that I could with time upgrade but I really wasn't sure when I could upgrade again and if what I was doing was actually working. Really liked that it was straight in the browser like that, nicely done!
1) in the tutorial, I don't understand what is a *chamber* and how to.. create one? I am stuck at step 4.
2) In the game itself, I get *ant production failed* constantly;
Help me out here and will check further ; )
