No More Grandma! by eroxxie

The game takes place at you​r lovely grandma’s house.

Being the caring grandma she is, it’s her job to make sure you are well fed. The problem is that your stomach have a limit, but you can’t say no to your sweet grandma, even though she keeps on bringing out more cookies! So you need to get rid of the cookies ​when she are not looking or you will puke up everything infront of her and you should not disappoint your grandma like that…

​Controls & Info

​Mouse - Drag the cookies to your mouth

Right Mousebutton - Eat what you are chipmunking

SPACE - Spit out (don't let your granny see you!)

You will get points the longer you can manage to not get caught! Also worth mentioning is how you get caught, you can either:

:cookie: Get caught while spitting out food and granny sees it!

:cookie: Fill up your stomach, which has limited space, and start vomiting everywhere!

:cookie: Haven't eating enough and have 8 or more cookies laying around!

Great take on the theme.
The grandma animation is so fun that I need to admit I puked on purpose in front of her ....

Easily one of the smartest takes on the theme of the Jam! Gameplay wise I had a bit of trouble with all my cookies lying on the floor until I got used to the controls, then there were a few glitches with stomach level not displaying properly or vomiting animation not playing, or not being able to earn more than 10 score (am I doing something wrong?). The overall feeling is pleasant, as I did try to replay a few times in order to test out different game scenarios. Kudos for the humor aspect of the game :)

Could be better if you have different food and different way to eat them.
It's quickly repetitive but good idea for the theme

I saw this game on one of the posts and wanted to try it!
Funny as hell. the audio and music is surprisingly great and the whole idea works really good. Congrats.

This is a super clever interpretation of the theme, and it's hysterical. The music hits the mark as well, and contributes to the mood perfectly. Controls were simple and easy to understand al well! Great work!

This game is awesome. I thought the objective was to eat as much cookies at first, but then realised that it's about not eating too much and not getting caught. I still felt bad for grandma and just ended up eating all the cookies lol.

Very funny, the concept is entertaining and the vomit stuff made me actually laugh out loud! Very cute, could be fleshed out a bit more but of course this is LD so no big deal there. Very cute!

Super funny and really well executed!

From a mechanics perspective, I wish there was a little bit more variety with how grandma came and went. Maybe if the time periods she was gone varied a little bit more in length, or if I could throw a cookie to distract her or something. I think a little bit of variety could make it even more fun to eat and/or spit out cookies behind her back because I would feel even more sneaky doing so!

Really funny and creative! I don't really understand how to get points, even though I survived a really long time I never seemed to get anything over 10 points. Anyway, I love the visual style and the wobbly arms, I feel that was a very smart choice and made this game a whole lot more unique! The mechanic is funny, though the game is very easy. The grandma always comes in the same pattern and you always barf really fast, so there is never a moment where you can mess up unless you try to. I could have kept going forever! Maybe with more variety this could be really special, though for now it's still very creative.

This is cute and hilarious. I ended up losing the first time because I messed up the controls (I thought when you chipmunked food you either ate it OR spit it out), and then a second time because the cookies fell on the floor and I couldn't reach them. Each time though (including the third time when I understood it better) the score stopped going up and my stomach wouldn't show as getting any fuller. I could still spit, though, which is always hilarious. And the way the arms move is so dang adorable, as is the game concept as a whole.
