Cramped Apocalypse by TermiGht
I just want to sleep. Tutorial on the starting screen so I won't write everything down here just the synopsis.
So my idea for limited space is that you have to survive zombie hordes after the apocalypse, but you have a limited amount of construction sites to build resource production.
There are 4 types of defenders:
- Melee with a bat
- Melee with a sword
- Melee with a pistol
- Melee with an automatic rifle
There are 3 types of zombies:
- Simple (green)
- Fast (red)
- BIG (Big green, tank)
You can probably tell the damage and health ratio of these units so there is no display for them in the game (definitely did not have time for it)
Known bugs:
- Something went wrong in the void and every time you start a custom scenario the first scenario settings apply always so you have to restart the game and then it will work
- Ending screen button not working (Will be fixed)

It's a fun idea. I played long enough to try different strategies. The graphics and UI are good.
Negative:
There's no time to figure things out at the start. I wish I could pause and review my options. I was never able to build an assault rifle guy. The waves got too big too fast - I kept one pistol guy alive by keeping him in the air and he still couldn't hold off the onslaught of the third round.
All in all, I'd really enjoy this with a bit of polish.
The version embedded here has the wrong resolution so the resources at the top were cut off.
Then I tried the web build on itch and that seemed broken. Turns out its the first two maps from the level select that don't work properly. The first map the first night never ends, and the second you get swarmed almost instantly.
I did have some fun with it once I tried the third map and played about with the options though.
Clicking on the people makes them go up. They could also fire when you are moving them around which was entertaining.
The resource gain did not seem enough for anything, even fully upgraded, and its generally not clear what is happening.
Something to say what the buildings were doing after they are build would have been helpful.
The particles when you click on the ground are misleading.
