Very nice game ! Very polished, graphics are very nice, and the design of the plants is very good as well !
There seems to be a small issue with the end game condition though ! I didn't have to entirely fill the board in order to end the game.

Really cool game with particularly impressive graphics and audio. Love the attention to detail with being able to use right click to skip through dialogue.

I finished it! one of the great games of LD54. Good use of the theme. The game looks and sounds really good and completing puzzles feel good. congrats.

This has a great atmosphere, I love the window into space with the low level rumble in the background. Its really well polished to, the dithering looks really good. The first few puzzles are fun, but perhaps there needs to be a few more interactions between plants, in the end I didn't really have to think about the placement rules since the decision making was mostly about space.

Haha classic Jeff. I noticed the final level you didn't need to fill up the board (or maybe since I filled up the board once and then re-planted everything to get the 1 of everything? Unsure. It's probably the same thing that @gorglomux found.) Overall I really liked the art and small details!

This is a really well polished game! I'm impressed you managed to fit in a tutorial/level system as well. I like that both of our games have the same theme of plants fitting into grids but the gameplay is completely different haha. The art and animations are gorgeous, it's really impressive work especially for a 72 hour game. I had some difficulty understanding which plants cannibalised which plants. I think a red tile indicator showing which tiles will destroy plants would be useful? Great game though, good job to the team!

Short but sweet! I really enjoyed this puzzle game. My only thought is, I wish it was longer. I would totally buy a full version of this game! Nice work!

I have the opposite issue than some: I filled the board and have at least one of each plants on the final board and the game doesn't end (none of the two check-mark are on). Still it was a nice little game.

Nice and simple, with some good humour and a personality of its own ^^ The last level was a bit weird as it didnt want to accept my solution until I made another one, but apart from that it was very smooth and enjoyable game ^^

Awww! What a great game! I had a fantastic time playing it, really really enjoyed it!
It was really curious to notice that some of the plants I assume stop being nasty near particular plants? It was really fun to figure these things out, I wish there were more games that would focus on this enjoyable 'discovery' and 'experiment' aspect.

Really good! Thank you for your game!!

Fun game! I like that the different plants react with each other when placed. That leads to some fun experimentation. Though perhaps it could be helpful to add notes after you discover how things react for future reference?

Great game, love that plants can interact with other one close to them

interesting idea and interesting execution, I was missing a lot of information about the plants, I worked with them on the principle of trial and error. but it was nice that the game didn't punish me. And great retro pixel art

Neat little puzzle game; enjoyed the dialogue between levels too. Few visual glitches here and there with plants disappearing and I cheesed the ending by accident; placed a plant that withered but it gave me the win because I filled the board with at least one of everything before it did. Overall nice idea with a good implementation. Enjoyed it!

An interesting concept, it feels like it may need some iteration though, maybe some of the plants evolve the others when they die or something? Great work on the framing and characters, dialogue was witty and the sarcastic dispassionate approval by the subordinate is on point.

Possible Bug: The final stage required me to fill in the board, but I could have easily filled more spaces before it ended.

Thank you all for playing! And for your feedback!
I fixed some of the bugs you mentioned (especially fixing the end level ending condition - thank you for telling us, @vr-corry, @mitch-miller, @jadener, @thebmxeur, @ordineu, @gorglomux) :)

I wish you all the best and lots of fun playing more games.
