Very nice graphics. If there was more variety of cards, I would play and play)

Nice polish. A little slow on the gameplay side, perhaps having more different cards and a little more difficulty would have helped.

Nice mood, cute and and neat. The music and art is great, and although it's a pleasant game, I'd say it would benefit from more variety and difficulty, getting to explore the concept more and feel the "limited space" more.

LOVE THIS! I would absolutely pay money for a full version of this game. The art style is great.

Nit picking but I found I wanted there to be some indicator for when the next boss was. Felt like there were too many fights of the same kind in a row. Took awhile for new cards and enemies to appear. Great mechanics though

Woah.. The music, the art, just beautiful <3 The candle as a turn signal (xD) is so cool. I also loved the card animations in midair. Spent a lot of time on this one. Game design is awesome, even though it gets repetitive after such time. The game begs for more content. I regret using that adrenaline shot + blood ritual combo on the boss, because I wanted to vibe a little bit with a new enemy ^^

Awesome art and animation work! There was nice enemy and weapon variety! Boss was also pretty cool, but he got destroyed by my poisoned blade. It's just annoying how I was forced to switch out one of my weapons, but if I got rid of a potion, I couldn't drink it. I also think the difficulty was a bit random. Once I got good cards, nothing could stop me.

Well done on submitting!

Amazing art and polish! 😄

Well done! This has to be one of the most polished games in this jam!

I feel like it dragged on a bit too long, with identical encounters one after the other.

I also wish there were an option to discard the card you just got, or use a potion in the new card select screen.

But these are minor issues. The game is fun, and your take on the theme is interesting! 😄

This is such a fun concept of combining two genres, really fits the theme too since both snake and sokoban are based on the concept of moving in the limited spaces! good job!!

This was really fun and I got excited when I got to the boss. Up till then, (and after) I sort of felt that the balance was weird and I would get easy rounds late in the game. But it was exciting to reach the boss, because just when I thought I kind of saw it all, I encountered this large awesomely drawn reaper. The look was very good and so was the atmosphere. But I felt like dragging the cards was a bit clunky. I would have preferred to just click them because it felt weird to drag it up and then have to aim again up at the enemy I wanted to select. I think it either needed to drag to the target and select that target, or be a click. I also wished I could throw out cards instead of being forced to replace one. All that said, I played this game for a good while. Really nice work! Genuinely fun and good looking game.

Wow! This game has so much juice for a jam entry, I can't believe it. I loved the art style and the visual fidelity of the UI interactions. Super important for a card based RPG. It did take me a little while to get to grips with the various mechanics (health, initiative, damage, cooldowns) but once I got into it, I felt like the combat encounters were nicely balanced with a lot of diversity, which is impressive in its own right.

I did find the UX a little confusing, finding myself wanting to drag cards onto enemies but then having to target them afterward. The "skip turn" hit area could definitely have been the whole candle. Little things like that were marginally disruptive, but I suppose worth mentioning given how polished the rest of the game is.

I felt like the game was maybe a little longer than I expected (brevity in a jam entry is appreciated), not too overboard but I definitely felt like things were dragging slightly towards the end. I understand there were many more card variations than I saw, so perhaps that would have changed things up for me.

I like the idea of endless gameplay. NG+ is a great idea, though I think a little "thanks for playing" or similar would have been great after the boss to give the player permission to exit knowing they experienced all the content.

Overall, still, this an immensely impressive effort for a jam game, and I really appreciated you sharing it with us. Best of luck with your results!
