A small playdate game made to practise developing games on the Playdate.

Save Mr Orange from the crushing walls by using your energy carefully to move the walls outwards while Mr Orange moves around the screen!

CONTROLS: D-Pad - Select wall A - Push wall out (costs energy but increases area) B - Bring wall in (restores energy but decreases area)

How do I download the simulator? All I see is the dev kit and the desktop app, but the desktop app you need to connect a playdate to it

Hi, you would need to download the dev kit which includes the simualtor. If you don't want to that's completely understandable!

Very cute! It gets tense quick to try and save your guy and the crank definitely adds a lot to the game feel

Oh cool, a Playdate game! I sideloaded it onto my Playdate and got a highscore of 66.98 seconds :3 I've been interested in developing my own Playdate game, so how was your first time experience with it?

@chailotl Thanks for trying it out on your Playdate! It takes a little while to get used to the SDK, although it's very beginner friendly overall and you should 100% give it a go!

Yes a playdate game! Sideloaded and got 75s as my best score. Really crisp aesthetic and using the crank for fine adjustment was neat. It's quite a slow and careful game, would like to see what a fast paced version is like. Perhaps that could speed up the decision making. absolutely nailed the theme, good stuff!

Yay Playdate game! Sideloaded and tried it out. It is a little tricky to get used to, but I appreciated the good use of the crack. I don't think I was very good at the game but I enjoyed it all the same. Good work!
