About the Game

You heard the guy, there's a deadly leak in the building. And OMG! THE CATS! YOU'VE GATO SAVE THE CATS!

Jump & slide around obstacles and enter rooms where there are cats. To save them you have to fit them in a box. But there's a catch!

The box has Limited Space.

Controls

Ha-ha got you! We actually managed to make a tutorial.

Game Modes

STORY - pre-built map with a beginning and an ending

ENDLESS - procedurally generated map with randomly scattered puzzle rooms

There is a great temptation to ask where you got their inspiration from... But I’ll get by, okay! Anyway, you have a very energetic and fun game. Saving cats is always cool, especially such strange ones.

Good job, very funny gameplay, it makes you always be ready for obstacles, but sometimes the camera can't keep up with the player, anyway all fine.

@ynnon thank you for your feedback. I have to mention that the camera moves with the wave as intended. It provides a constant challenge for the player. If a player is too fast for that wave, that's great. It means he has skillfully navigated the obstacles and deserves some time to think before the next ones.

I really enjoyed it, the audio and cats are 10/10. It a bit hard since there isn't much time to anticipate the obstacles, expecially the jumping one, but it's fun.
I can really feel the anxiety and rush for saving those poor cats, and trying to imagine all those cats in the box while the good guy is running away.
On the spot with the theme, great game :)

Wow that was really fun to play! I didn't expect at all the combination between an endless runner with what essentially is an inventory management system. The art and music was also good. Nice reference to your uni group. Wish I could see my score at the game end screen though.

@kris3, thank you for your feedback. Your comment is very kind. I want to clarify that you can see your score at the end. In the _story_ mode you see your score after you've beaten the game. In the _endless_ mode you see your score at any point where you get caught by the wave.

A nice and polished little experience. It was a bit rough at first as the jumps in particular are very tight, but once I got the hang of it was enjoying styling my way on over to save my kitties.

Great mixture of two different gameplay styles. The cat stacking and the ending were hilarious

This actually reminds me of a game that a friend of mine made in college called wet....well I'm sure you can guess the rest lol

It's really cool that you have a set of diverse mechanics. Funny and great narrative. Loved the variety of cats.

Funny little game with good graphics. The cats are cute - and the main gameplay is interesting. It fits with the theme. The bass line is amazing. Is there a way to get the audio track only? Well done. You made a solid entry ++

Making it to a new room to see the new cat sprites was a big treat. At first I was losing my mind at how hard it was to fit the cats together, but now I see that I can figure them out over many replays. I got got by the jump-dive after the 4th (?) room too many times and gave up. Really really like this game 🙀🙀🙀

Very interesting!

1st of all you got 2 games for the price of 1, that's pretty impressive

I love the cats - the soundtrack and sound effects, their looks and different shapes, that works extremely well, very charismatic and enticing

Now...

The jump mechanic is infuriating!!

I got as far as past the 1st cats box to be filled - there's like a slide then a jump directly after - couldn't get past it - it drives me crazy!

I believe it would be better for players to make it more forgiving - it's good there's the right feedback like visual + sound that you bounced on the table or whatnot but it's very easy to bounce once or twice and then you don't have the space to jump anymore and you're done foe and have to start from scratch

Maybe checkpoints could be a thing too - I don't know

Lots of potential there no matter - good job keep it up :grinning: :sparkles:
